Having Faith (Maclean Mafia Men 2)

He wiped a hand down his face. “I called paramedics and killed the man who did it. I had heard things about him but had no proof until right then. After she got better, I set her up in an apartment with money to heal. It took a long time, but she got back on her feet. Instead of being scared of her shadow, she vowed to take as many monsters off the street as possible. She’s picked up a few men that help her. The ones who were with her the last night are her personal men.”
“She has a relationship with both?” Graham asked.
“Yes. If anyone deserves double the love, it’s that woman.”
“I saw the scars on her hands, neck, and face,” Graham said.
“I’ll never get the picture of her on the floor covered with blood out of my mind.”
“Where does she take the men?”
“I don’t know,” Angus said. “And I don’t want to know. I think she keeps them for a while before she kills them.”
“Good, I hope she makes them hurt as bad if not worse than what they’ve done to women.”
Angus nodded at Graham. “Me, too. Listen. I’m tired, and I think your women probably need you. I won’t tell you anything else, so don’t ask.”
“We’ll follow you up,” Alastair said.
Graham saw Tony and a few other men outside Alastair’s suite.
“Are they gone?” Tony asked.
Alastair nodded. “Yes. Go on to the bed, guys. Thank you for watching the girls.”
Tony snorted. “You know we’re here for you and not because you pay us.”
“I do.”
Graham watched his father roll down the hallway into his room, where a male nurse waited to help him get in bed.
Graham and Alastair walked into the room, and immediately, Faith cried out and ran to him, throwing herself into his arms making him chuckle.
“Miss me, did ya?”
Faith tightened her arms around his neck. “Tell me.”
He hugged her tightly against his chest. “They’re gone for good. You never have to worry about them again.”
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.”
Graham watched Blake and Hope leave. “Let’s get to our bedroom.”
She nodded and waved at Beth.
He wrapped an arm around her waist as they walked through the house.
“Where are my sister and mother?”
“They’re safe in a hotel under guard. You’ll see them tomorrow.”
She sighed and nodded. “Thank you.”
“Baby, there is nothing I wouldn’t do for you,” Graham said. He closed and locked the door behind them.
She grinned. “Even making made passionate love to me?”
He chuckled. “Oh, all right, if I have to,” he joked.
She giggled and then screamed when he lifted her and tossed her onto the bed. When he stripped her out of her clothes, she tried to wrestle away from him, laughing.
He spent the rest of the night making love to his wife and only let her sleep when the first rays of dawn appeared through a slit in the curtains.
