Well, at least I have my whole shift to try to figure out what to do. Hopefully that'll be enough time. Somehow thought I know I'll just keep getting distracted thinking about Dean. It's going to be a long night.

Chapter 8

The diner was slow tonight, so my boss sent me home early even though I tried to convince her to have me help clean up more so I could stay longer, but I had already restocked all the supplies and wiped down pretty much every surface in the building.

I blow out a breath before I open the front door. Well, here goes nothing. When I walk in, the house is dark except I can see the light on in Dean’s office from under the door. I can hear a muffled voice talking, so he is probably on the phone. I walk upstairs to my room and Brian is sitting on the bed on his phone.

When he sees me walk in, he quickly closes out whatever he was doing. Probably sexting with Maddison. “Hey, you’re home early.”

I just shrug at him. “Yeah the diner was kind of slow tonight.” I suddenly get nervous and chicken out on confronting him right away. “I’m going to take a shower.”

I take extra long getting ready for bed after my shower. I blow dry my hair, put lotion on my legs, brush my teeth, do a moisturizing face mask. Anything to stall more time. Maybe Brian will be asleep by the time I get out. I throw on some sleep shorts and a tank, but I feel too exposed even though I”ve worn this around Brian so many times before. I reach for my bathrobe and throw it on before I walk out.

When I walk back into the room, Brian is still on the bed, but he is laying down now watching videos on his phone. “You going to bed?”

Brian glances up at me from his phone. “Yeah probably soon. Had a long day.”

I give a fake smile. “I bet. You got home pretty late last night. How was the night out with the guys?”

Brian shrugs. “Nothing special.”

Well, now I know he can just easily lie about what he was up to. It doesn’t seem like this was a one time thing that he regrets and wants to come clean about. I decide to push him further. “Jason’s story had a selfie with Rebecca. You guys invite Maddison out?”

This gets Brian’s attention more, but he just holds to his lie. “We just ran into them. Just said hi and went our separate ways.”

I squeeze my fingers into a fist. I can feel my anger rising again. This asshole.

“Oh really? You didn’t even get a couple drinks together? I mean you could have invited me out. You know I love to dance. Just didn’t want to interfere on guys’ night.”

Brian goes back to looking at his phone. “Yeah no, we just wanted to hang out with guys. Otherwise you know I would have called you.”

My breaths are coming in harsher than before, and I can feel my anger rising. It was one thing to find out Brian was cheating on me. I think somewhere deep down I always knew something was up, but having him lie so casually to my face is affecting me even more. It is making me question if anything he ever said to me was true. Was our whole relationship fake? Can I really trust what anyone says?

I decide I can’t confront him about this right now. Dumping his sorry ass just doesn’t seem like enough. I have to get out of this room.

“Is your dad home? I need to unwind. I think I am going to go watch some TV.”

Brian briefly looks up from his phone. “Yeah he’s down in his office. He said he had to make some overseas call, so he’ll probably be up late, but he won’t bother you. He said he had to sort out a mess with the CEO of the company he is working with because they sent his wife to meet him for lunch today, but she wasn’t even involved in the part of the business he is working on.”

I suddenly exhale a breath of relief. The CEO’s wife? So maybe Dean really wasn’t on a date today.

“Okay sounds good. Night.”

I walk downstairs and turn on the TV. I throw my robe on the couch, and before I know what I am doing, I am in front of Dean’s office door. I can hear him talking on the other side. I reach for the door handle and twist. It’s not locked, so I walk in and shut the door.

Dean looks up from the papers he was looking at surprised to see me in here. His eyes drift down from mine taking in the little clothes I am wearing, and when his eyes are done slowly perusing down, they shoot back up to mine. Only this time when our eyes connect, there is no longer surprise in them. Now they are pure lust.

His heated stare causes shivers to run down my spine and goosebumps appear all over my skin. I can feel my nippes harden against the thin material of my tank top and a throbbing sensation shoots between my legs.

I walk over to his desk and push his chair back. I reach for the back of his neck as I get up on his chair and straddle him. I am not usually this forward with men. My first thought is that I keep coming onto Dean because I am pissed at Brian, but that doesn’t explain why I felt the same way when I first figured out he was Brian’s dad. I wasn’t fighting with Brian then, and I still wanted him just as much.

I run my tongue up Dean’s neck and then bite gently on his ear. His hand on my hip grips me hard, and he makes a quiet grunt noise. I make a trail of kisses back down his neck and start unbuttoning his dress shirt. With each button that opens, I place another kiss down his chest.

Dean tries to pull away slightly and puts a finger up to say just a second, but I ignore him and slide off his lap down onto the ground in front of him. At first Dean thinks I am just giving him space to finish his phone call, but his eyes shoot down to me when he feels my hands undoing his belt and pulling down his pant's zipper. Dean is shooting daggers at me with his eyes and he mouths the words “Don’t you dare.” His challenge only further encourages me to continue.

I reach into his boxes and pull out his already hard cock giving it a few light squeezes as I run my fist up and down it. Dean’s whole body tenses. “Yes Mr. Daniels. I just need the files on the O’Connor contract.” Dean quickly spits out.

I pause my hand when I get to the base, and this time instead of running my hand back up, I stick my tongue out and run it all the way up to his tip where I swirl it around the head. Dean’s hand grabs my hair, and he rolls his eyes up to the ceiling. His mouth hangs open in a silent moan. The sight is so hot that I don’t waste anymore time teasing and take him into my mouth all the way.
