“What?” she asked, her voice heavy with about as much lust as I felt.

My fingers dug into the bare flesh on her legs, and she sucked in air.

Put her the fuck down.

“You!” I growled, fingers still biting her skin.

Lights. Where the fuck were the lights?

I moved us quickly, feeling for the door and then the light switch. A soft glow basked the room from the light above our heads, and I felt the dilation of my pupils as I stared down at her lustful green eyes and swollen lips. The apples of her cheeks were flushed, and when I trailed my eyes down to her split legs around my waist, her skirt was pushed up just far enough that I could see the color of her panties. I almost fell. My knees shook. The entire fucking school shook.

“I’m putting you down.”

Hurt flashed behind the lush green, but just as quickly as she looked hurt, she looked…disappointed? Her plump bottom lip jutted out, and it was a swift punch to my dick.

She was pouting, and a twisted part of me wanted to bite that pouting lip. Fuck yes.

Was this the Gemma that she liked to hide? The one I caught a glimpse of every once in a while? The one that sat so quietly behind the good-girl act?

Physical pain soared through me as I put distance between us. Her fingers fumbled with the bottom of her skirt as she pulled it down, hiding the marks my fingers had put on her. “Why did you put me down?”

“Why did I put you down?” I asked, almost roaring. My back flung toward her as my hands gripped the back of my neck tightly. Then, I spun around and gave her a look that had her mouth shutting. “You said you didn’t know how to kiss.”

She nibbled at her lip as she pulled her chestnut-colored hair to the side. “I know.”

“You lied!” I snapped. I didn’t like to be lied to.

Her gaze flew to mine as she bit back a response. “I did not!”

“You honestly cannot stand there and tell me that I was your first kiss. If so, then you were a fucking stripper in your past life.” So hot. It was so fucking hot.

Gemma’s shoulders stiffened, and a flicker of something went across her face. “I never said that you were my first kiss.”

A burning, fire-flaming zip of jealousy slashed up my spine. It was irrational and without logical reason, but that didn’t make me any less aware that I wanted to rip any person before me who’d had the opportunity to kiss a girl like her to fucking shreds.

Her shaky voice seemed to ground me. “I said I didn’t know how to kiss. Not that I hadn’t been kissed.”

I thought over her words carefully, repeating them in my head as my hands fell to my sides. “So, then you have been kissed. I wasn’t your first?”

Conflict was evident on her face. Her beautiful, angelic traits, even with the rare bout of makeup on her features, pulled together with confusion. “No. But...yes?”

I pulled back, my hands shooting back up to my neck. I felt as tight as a string on a fucking crossbow. “That makes absolutely no sense.”

“I know!” she snapped, obviously trying to work through something as she began pacing the small room. There was nothing in her way except for a dingy, tattered couch that had enough cum on it that I could smell the dried sperm before even stepping foot in here.

“I’m confused,” I finally said after following her every move. Was that what I was feeling? Confusion? I was definitely feeling something, but it was so new I couldn’t decipher it.

She stopped and spun on her black boots. I caught the smoothness of her leg and felt the rise of my dick again. I wanted her. I felt wild, staring at her from across the room. My chest started to heave again as blood pumped harder.

I licked my lips, and she placed her hands on her hips, just underneath the cream sweater that was now only half tucked into her skirt. “You’re confused?!” she shrieked, and I took a step toward her. “I’m confused!”

My head slanted. “Why are you confused?”

Her eyes shot to every last corner of the room before she grabbed onto me. I was closer now, and I hadn’t even remembered walking the rest of the way over to her. “Because this is all so new to me! And I like it! I like it a lot, and I’m not supposed to. It’s something that I was taught was so bad for so long.”

Bad? My hands reached out for her when she squeezed her eyes shut, bringing her shaky hand to the bridge of her nose. Her words were like rapid missiles shooting out of her mouth. “And it’s not even real. You were kissing me because of Bain, right? I’m just another pawn in a game, and it’s whatever… I know that you’re trying to protect me or put more attention on me so he’ll leave me alone or…whatever—”

“Who said it wasn’t real?” I interrupted her before she could get any further.
