He threw his cell phone across the room. It hit the wall, and he screamed. “Shit! Fuck.”

“Fucking talk to me,” Fay yelled.

“No, I’ve got to get you to a safe place, and then I’ll do all the explaining.”

He went to grab her hand, but she pulled away. “No, fucking hell no. Whatever is happening, this has Blair involved. In case you forgot, she’s my best friend. I’m not going to allow you to keep me in the dark.”

“I’m doing what I can to keep you safe.”

“Bullshit,” she said.

“Damn it, Fay. Do you think I’ve waited three years to just have a bit of a fun time with you? Don’t you get it? I’m in love with you.”

“What?”

“Yeah, I’m in love with you, and you’re the only person that O’Neal doesn’t fucking know about. He went after Blair instead, and I cannot let him get to you. I’ll go and get my sister…”

Fay saw a plan building in his head, but she was still reeling from his confession of love. Blaze Carter loved her. She couldn’t believe it, and yet, it was so … no, she didn’t have time to dwell on this. To think and to be happy.

“O’Neal’s your boss, and I’m guessing from this thug, he’s not a nice guy.”

“No, he’s not.”

There would be time for him to explain everything that he’d gotten involved with, but for now, she had to focus on getting to her best friend.

“Then use me.”

“No.”

“He doesn’t know who I am.”

“Fay, I’m not going to put you in danger.”

“Blair is my best friend. She’s like a sister to me, and I’m not going to run and hide while you take care of everything. While there is a risk something might happen. I’m not going to do that. I’m not going to let you do that.” She went to him, putting her hands on his chest. “I … I love you too.”

She’d never said it aloud. Growing up, she had always thought it. Had hoped one day she’d be able to tell him that she loved him.

“Fay?”

“I love you, and I’m not going to let you do this on your own. I’m not someone you need to protect. I’m here. Willing to fight by your side, and this O’Neal doesn’t know who I am. I can help you.”

“How can you help me?” he asked. “You don’t have any fighting experience.”

“No, but I am one hell of a good distraction,” she said, lifting her shirt over her head, showing off her tits.

“Hell, fucking no.”

“I won’t be naked, Blaze. You can deal with this O’Neal, and I’ll handle cronies like this. I’ll be the damsel in distress. Please, just let me help.”

He didn’t want her help. “Fine. Fine. You can keep his guards distracted, but you go in after me. You’re going to have to … wear something revealing.”

Fay smiled, biting into her lip. “Jealous?”

He cupped her tits and kissed each mound. “These are mine.”

“Yes.”

“This is mine.” He touched her pussy.

“Always.”

His hands went to her ass, and he pulled her in close. “And this is mine.”

“I think so.”

“No, I will fuck it one day, Fay. All of you belongs to me. Say it,” he said.

“All of me belongs to you. Every single part of me is yours, Blaze.”

He took her hand, leading her back into the closet, and she waited as he went into his closet and then came out with a dress she had never worn.

Blair had demanded she buy it during one of her shopping trips. Her first instinct was to tell Blaze hell no, but how could she help if she wouldn’t even get changed into clothing?

“You can back out,” he said.

She rolled her eyes and took the dress from him. “Not going to happen. Where’s the underwear?”

“No underwear. A dress like that, men will be driven crazy by knowing you’re not wearing anything underneath.”

Fay didn’t know if this was a good idea. She wasn’t a seductress.

Blaze helped her into the dress, going around the back to secure the zipper. It was skin-tight, but it seemed to enhance her curves, showing them off rather than ruining them. Blair had fallen in love with the dress and had said any man would be driven wild by her wearing it.

Blaze stepped in front of her. “You’re going to have every single dick hard for you.”

“I’m only interested in yours,” she said.

“Mine is rock hard. In fact, after you use this, we may need to create a lot more memories with this.”

She put her hands on his chest and agreed.

“You play the damsel,” he said. “You don’t know where you’ve stumbled into. I’ll buy you another.”

“Blaze?”

He grabbed one of her straps and tore it.

“Blaze, what the hell?”

“You’ve got to look the part. You also won’t be wearing any heels.” He ran his fingers through her hair. “You already have bed hair. You look fuckable.”
