The Lawyer (The Dalton Brothers 1)

The sapphire minidress hugged those luscious hips; it stretched across her heart-shaped ass and ended at that beautiful freckle on a high part of her thigh. The material dipped around to her front, cutting off after a heavy dose of cleavage.
Sexy, confident, and fucking delicious.
She stood next to me with her back arched, her hands clenching the wooden edge of the bar, her ass sticking out as though she knew I was staring.
She finally responded to her name, gradually looking over at me, a small smile covering her face. “Out of all the bars in LA, you chose this one. Interesting.”
“My brothers wanted to come.”
“Of course they did.” She licked the inside of her bottom lip, causing my gaze to drop there and me to fantasize. “Things going good, Dominick?”
I didn’t do small talk very well. Words, in my field, cost my clients money. Telling Kendall that work had been busy as hell, the weather was sunny, and my brothers were driving me fucking crazy was useless.
Now, her ass was a topic I would much rather discuss.
“Are you filming tonight?” I asked, avoiding her question but initiating conversation I already knew the answer to.
“Just curious … will you be billing me for this chat?”
“This is off the clock, smart-ass.”
“One you clearly love admiring.” She straightened her body, changing positions so her ass wasn’t so emphasized. “There are no cameras tonight, just a get-together with my costars.”
“What do you think of them?”
She turned her body toward me, sending me more of her perfume, the new angle putting her tits in my direct line of vision.
Damn it, she was good, and she certainly knew what she was doing.
“They’re fine.” She kept her voice low even though the bar was loud, ensuring no one but me could hear her. “They’re women I wouldn’t normally hang with, but I’m pretty easygoing, so I’m sure we’ll get along fine.”
“The show is hoping that you don’t. Remember, the more drama—”
“The higher the ratings, I know—that’s what everyone keeps saying.” She twirled a chunk of her wild, long hair before tossing it over her shoulder. “I can already sense the little nuggets dropping. You know, this guy keeps looking at me, but another girl thinks he’s hot. That guy is going to ask her out, but he’s already dated one of the others. If that’s the angst they’re looking for, then it’s brewing.”
It was.
And that was the kind of shit I didn’t want to hear—anything that involved another dude even looking at her.
“Skinny margarita,” the bartender said, pulling me out of my thoughts. “And a whiskey.”
I took the small tumbler into my hand, Kendall already clinking hers against mine.
“Cheers, Dominick.”
Even the way she sang my name was fucking sexy.
“Cheers—”
“Ugh, you didn’t get me one,” a girl asked, cutting me off.
The blonde draped her arm around Kendall’s shoulders and lowered her lips to the glass, taking a long pull of Kendall’s margarita.
I didn’t have to ask who she was. Her appearance told me she was a costar.
“You know I’ll share,” Kendall said, offering her another sip.
The girl wiped the skinny margarita off her mouth and instantly eyed me up. “Kendall, who’s this yummy specimen?” She stuck her hand out for me to shake, fingers bent like a queen. “I’m Delilah, and you are?”
“Dominick.”
“My lawyer,” Kendall added. “One who charges the most obscene amount per hour.”
“Ohhh, but it looks like he’s worth every penny.” She pulled her fingers back from my grip, dangling them in the air as though she wasn’t sure where to place them. “Maybe I should have hired you. Surely, someone who’s big and burly and dapper, like yourself, could have gotten me what I needed.” Her hand landed on my arm, rubbing my triceps as though it were my cock. “And, baby, I need a lot.”
“He’s single too,” Kendall said. “So, have at him.”
I wanted to reach across the small space separating us, wrap my hands around Kendall’s waist, and bend her over my knee, where I would spank that tantalizing ass.
But the opportunity ended as she stepped back, adding too much distance between us.
“Good to see you tonight, Dominick. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” She gave me one of her signature smiles, and then she was gone, out of my sight.
Leaving me with Delilah.
“Where were we?” she cooed.
