“Ooh, quoting your vows already?” I smirk.
“You know it, baby. I’ll quote them every day for the rest of my life.”
I lay my head on his chest as he kisses my temple. I close my eyes, and I can’t believe this is my life now. I’m a married woman.
“You look absolutely stunning, you know that, Mrs. Lawson?”
I feel his warm breath on my ear, and it sends goose bumps up my arm. He tips my chin up with his index finger, so I stare into his eyes. I completely forget about everything and am completely consumed by the man in front of me.
“Say it again,” I whisper against his lips, closing the distance.
He pulls back, which is the opposite of what I want. His hand rests on my hip.
“You. Look. Absolutely. Stunning.”
I close the distance again, wrapping my arms tighter around his neck. “No, not that part.”
I play with the hair on his back of his neck. He closes his eyes and emits a low growl, completely forgetting that we are in the middle of the dance floor. I can feel his smile against my lips.
“Mrs. Lawson,” he whispers before crashing his lips against mine.
The world fades away, and it’s just me and Kyler. That’s how it seems to be for us—nothing and no one else matters.
The kiss deepens as his tongue slips into my mouth, and my hands squeeze the back of his neck, bringing him closer. I don’t ever want to let this man go; however, the change of songs brings me back to reality, and I remember we are not alone. It would probably be frowned upon for us to get it on here in front of all these people. I pull back breathless and flushed.
He kisses the tip of my nose and clears his throat. “I love that I get to do that for the rest of our lives.”
I straighten my dress, thankful that the material hides my hardened nipples.
“Me too.” I take a step back from him and look around.
I notice that Finn is standing on the dance floor, where I had seen him with Lauren before, but Lauren is nowhere in sight. I make a mental note to check on her—I have so many questions.
“How about we finish making our rounds, share a few more dances on the dance floor, and then we get out of here? I am dying to get you out of this dress,” Kyler says.
I walk in front of him and give my hips a little shake knowing that it will drive him crazy. I look over my shoulder at him, bat my eyelashes, and smile.
“You coming?”
Kyler speed-walks to meet me and wraps his arm around me, pulling my back to his front, and I can feel just how much he is looking forward to getting me out of this dress. He nibbles on my earlobe, turning my insides to liquid.
“Oh, I plan to, babe.” He grabs my hand and takes the lead before looking back and winking to me.
Maybe we should just get out of here now.
I couldn’t wait to get my bride out of the reception and have time alone to celebrate. We quickly said goodbye to everyone and headed to the hotel. I seriously couldn’t wait for it to be just us. Thankfully the hotel we’re staying at for the night was not far. I couldn’t keep my hands off Dani in the limo, and it took all strength in my body to not disappear under her dress and begin to have my way with her.
When the elevator stops with a loud ding, I lift Dani into my arms and carry her to our suite.
“What are you doing?” she shrieks.
“What does
it look like I’m doing?” I give her a cocky smirk. “I’m carrying my girl to our room, and then I’m going to make love to my wife all night long.”
Dani begins to squirm in my arms, and I laugh.
“Baby, I need you to keep still till we get there, then once I have you naked on the bed, you can squirm in my arms as much as you want.”
