Assholes with little dick energy. Jealous that I could shoot hoops better than they ever could. I had offers to play in college but turned them down because people called me a lesbian for loving the sport. Something I shouldn’t have let get to me but that’s in the past. I’m trying harder to love the skin I’m in but it’s a struggle.

I watch as Justice strolls to the driver’s side. He’s confident but not in an overly cocky sense. He’s older than me. Mid-thirties and he fast tracked to detective. From our conversation I can tell he has a good head on his shoulders. Mature and career driven. He knows what he wants. He’s ready to build a life with someone.

I’m not saying that I’m ready to jump into marriage, but I do like that is where his head is at. I’m not at a place in my life where I want to start having kids yet, but I want that possibility on the table and a guy like Justice comes with stability.

These are the important things people should consider when getting into the dating game. Not physical attraction. If I based love only on that then Viking would still be in my bed.

Heat flashes across the back of my neck at the thought of him. Having him in my mouth. Riding him. Him taking me from behind.

My phone buzzes and I have to check it in case it might be something to do with work. “Sorry.” I reach into my purse and grab my phone.

“Of course. You know I know better than anyone how work can be.”

I like that he automatically assumes it’s work and gets that I’m not checking to be rude. I swipe my thumb over the screen and there’s a text from an unknown sender.

Unknown:How’s that date working out? -Viking

I stare daggers at my phone imagining each one taking aim at Viking. Hitting the asshole in his jerk ass. One in each cheek.

Andi:None of your business.

Viking:Uh oh. Must not be off to a great start if you’re playing on your phone when you could be playing with me.

Andi:As if! I thought it might be my JOB trying to reach me.

Viking: I’ve got a job for you.

Andi: I’m not part of your biker world.

Viking: So deep in my world, I’m practically inside you.

Andi: No. I’m not. You’re not. You can’t say stuff like this to me.

Viking: Princess, you need to stop lying to yourself. Bet you lay in bed at night waiting for you perfect man to come in and tell you all about his hard day at his cushy job, but really what you want is me coming to fill that pretty little pussy up. Stuff you with my fat cock.

I shake my head. Why am I bothering to explain myself to him? I shove my phone back in my purse. Screw him. Oh, wait. I already did.

“Everything okay?” Justice looks over at me with a hint of concern etched in his expression.

“Yeah. Only a friend. She had a health question.”

“Guess that gets annoying.”

“Sometimes. But I’m sure you get weird questions too.”

“You know the usual. Can you help me get out of this speeding ticket? Where’s the best place to bury a body?”

I blanche at the last one.

He chuckles. “It was a joke.”

“Right. But no really, what’s the best way to not get caught?” I smirk.

“See you got jokes too.”

“A few.”

When we pull up at a nice two-story brick house, I look at him with a raised brow.

“Hope you don’t mind but figured I’d cook for you.”

“This is a first for me.”

“I find that hard to believe.”

“Well believe it. Most guys want to skip dinner and hop straight into the hooking up and no calling part of dating.”

“Brutal.”

“It’s the way things are now.”

He shuts off his truck and says, “stay where you are.” He exits the vehicle and jogs to the passenger side to open my door.

Total gentleman.
