Teacher's Pet

Asher lifted his arm and sniffed his armpit. “Water activates it. Which is probably why I’m such a good swimmer.”
“Right,” I said, feeding into his thoughts. “So, you plan on doing swimming professionally?”
“No, absolutely not,” he said. “A couple of the guys are going to compete with team USA for whatever they do. I just wanted the full ride. I got it.”
“And if you fail the social studies?” I asked, genuinely curious about what he was planning on doing in life. I couldn’t help want to get to know him a little more. I was intrigued. “I don’t want to put it out there that I think you will. But what if you do?”
He shrugged. “Things just seem to happen for me,” he said. “I could do all sorts of things. I could—” he paused, holding out a hand and extending his thumb. “I could get into crypto. You know, one of my frat bros made like five bags on crypto. I—I could also maybe get into coaching, not what I want, but my swimming record speaks for itself, and honestly, I’m kinda over competing, chlorine isn’t good for the skin.”
We weren’t in any position to be giving each other personal advice, but I wanted to. We’d just fucked for the first time, our bodies connected hours ago. I hadn’t even thought of him in that way until last week.
I kept quiet, even though I wanted to tell him he was going to waste his potential.
“I might even think about teaching,” he said. “You do it, so how hard could it be?” This time, I caught the look in his eye. He was trying to get me to say something. He wanted me to be a little domineering and aggressive. Goading it out of me.
“I’m not sure if you could deal with a classroom full of students like you,” I said. “What would you do with them all? Pheromone them into line?”
He scoffed. “People listen to me.”
“People listen to me,” I said.
His eyes wandered, looking me over. “Do they?”
“C’mon kitten, you see how obedient you are in here,” I said, tugging the towel from him again. He let me have it this time. “You want me to act like this, right?” The excitement was clear in his eyes, and across his body, up and down. He came to attention. “But I’m not going to give it to you again.” Since I’d gone out on a limb and asked him to stay over, only to be rejected, it was only fair for me now to not entertain the erection he had.
“Don’t be mean,” he said, pouting. “I’m just a kitten. You can’t be mean to me.”
“You know, I think I have something I need to do,” I said, pressing my lips to his nose. “I’m not being mean; I’m just not giving you what you want.”
Asher let out a gasp. “That’s a little mean too.”
It’s what he wanted from me, in a way. I was just giving it to him. “If you play your cards right, maybe I’ll see if I can free up some time on Wednesday,” I told him, handing him the towel again. “You should get dried; you don’t want your fraternity to think you’ve been up to no good.”
