SUMMARY
Baron:
I’ve spent my entire life in the limelight.I traded my childhood for tutors and casting calls. I swapped precious teen memories for long days on sets, paparazzi, and lonely days far away from home.
My only friends in the world work for me- the Luna brothers- Sebastian and Seth. They’re the brothers I never had. Through thick and thin, they’ve had my back, and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for them in return.
Except stay away from their baby sister.
Sunny Luna is everything I’m not. She’s young, wholesome, vivacious, and always looks on the sunny side of life. Her parents couldn’t have picked a better name for the sassy, spirited girl who brightens my grumpy disposition with nothing but her sweet smile.
Ever since the day we met, her kind disposition has held a place in my heart, but the older she got, the more I wanted to keep all the sunshine to myself.
Her brothers still treat her like a baby. No one is good enough to date their little sister, and I wholeheartedly agree. I’m not good enough to touch her, but that’s all I want to do. I’m not good enough to claim her as mine, but that won’t keep me from trying.
Tired of being under their constant eye, she strikes out on her own. She’s earned a scholarship to study art in New York, and she plans to take the Big Apple by storm.
Not if I have anything to do about it.
Sunny’s too perfect, beautiful, and trusting to handle the tough streets of Manhattan alone. I won’t let her fend for herself. Sunny needs me, and although she may not know it---I need her more.
For now, I’ll be her roommate. A longtime friend looking out for her well-being. I’ll be by her side. I’ll keep her close.
And maybe someday soon, if the stars align, I’ll make her fall in love with me.
