Buying Love

“Here’s your water, Mrs. Harrison. Do you need anything else?”
“No, thank you.” I can’t tell what she’s thinking, but she asked to read. I know that it means a lot to her, so I let it go. In fact, I like that she’s jealous. It gives me hope that she may fall in love with me like I am with her.
I work on my laptop, hoping to cool the raging desire to lean over and pull her out of her seat so that I can eat her sweet pussy and slam my thick, throbbing cock deep inside her. It’s pure possessiveness that holds me back. The thought of Jack seeing her in the throes of passion stops me from claiming what’s mine.
Jack takes a nap midway through the three-hour flight. When he wakes up, he orders another drink. It’s only his second, which is good because I’d hate for him to reveal the truth about my obsession with my wife.
He takes a long drink of his rum and Coke and then nonchalantly blurts out, “So, I talked to mom this morning.”
“What?” I slam my laptop close, and Jenna lowers her book in curiosity.
He waves his hand, muttering, “Not about you two. Relax. Don’t worry, your secret is safe a little longer. Anyways, I just have to say I’m the only one not getting lucky.”
“Danny?”
“He was there. It was six in the morning when I called. He grumbled something about come back to bed.”
“Shit, that was quick.”
“Look who’s talking. Besides, they’re old. It’s not like the clock isn’t ticking.” As usual, I’m unable to keep from looking at her for long, and when I do sneak a peek, I see the questioning expression on her innocent face.
“I’m sorry. We’re being rude,” I say to Jenna, staring at her beauty. “My father died a long time ago. My mom and my usual driver met and hit it off. We expected them to get together, but it happened overnight.”
“That’s really sweet. It’s nice of you both to accept that.”
“Well, she’s been bugging us for grandchildren. With her getting a boyfriend, that might slow down the nagging. I guess not anymore with you two. She’ll be expecting a grandbaby soon.”
“Just wait, I’ll be whispering to mom about you needing a woman. Maybe she can introduce you to her friends’ daughters.”
“Fuck off.” It’s my turn to laugh, but I’m the only one. I can tell I upset my wife again, but I don’t know why and I sure as fuck don’t know how to fix it.
Chapter Eight
Jenna
It’s Friday, and we’re supposed to have dinner with his mother, but the dinner has been canceled because his mother supposedly isn’t home today, and Jake has to work late again. He’s been at work late every day this week, and he doesn’t ever want to talk about it when he gets home. In fact, we hardly do any talking. The second he steps through the door his hands are on me, and we forget everything but each other.
He calls me at lunchtime to see how I’m doing. “Sorry, Jake, but I’m not pregnant.”
“What do you mean?”
My heart races as I explain, “I got my period this morning.” Actually, I only bled a little then it has stopped since then.
I hear a noise in the background and a woman’s voice before he answers, “Oh well…excuse me. I have to let you go. We’ll talk later.”
I don’t hear from him for the rest of the day. It’s almost five at night when the doorbell rings. I open it to see a beautiful woman in her thirties, standing in front of me. She’s in a pair of black leggings, a black top, and a pair of high heeled boots, looking absolutely fabulous.
“Hello, can I help you?” I ask.
“Hi, I’m Melissa. Jake’s assistant. He’s asked me to bring you to his mother’s,” she says.
I terrible feeling hits me. “I thought dinner was canceled.”
“No, it’s back on. His mother can be persistent. It’s no wonder he did her bidding and found himself a wife to give him a baby. She can be a real piece of work. Shit. Please don’t tell him I said that. It’s the reason he and I went back to being just boss and employee. I can’t have kids.”
She catches herself again, clasping her hand over her mouth with the slightest giggle. I look at the long-legged beauty, hating her more than I did when I open the door. I want to slam the door closed in her face, but at the same time, I want to know more.
She shows me her work ID, so I know that she’s telling me the truth. “Oh well, let me get dressed.” As much as I hate having deal with this woman, there’s nothing to do. As long as he’s not sleeping with her now, I have no say. We’re only married for a baby which I haven’t given him yet. “Wait, is Jake not going to the dinner?”
