Brutal Boss (Bratva Brothers 1)

Yes, I’m capable of doing atrocious acts. I’ve threatened families and children, but only because I protected my own family.
Family who disowned me.
The bratva is my blood. The only family left who mean anything to me. My sister and her two children are gone, out of my life. She’s playing house with one of my most hated enemies and raises the twins with him.
He is their father, but she should have been smarter and more careful.
But I never hurt her. Well, not without just cause. I may have let my anger take hold, but I let her go, freed her to be with the man she loves.
I still hate the bastard. I’m not too keen on her, either.
Family is the bonds we make, not the blood that runs through our veins. My brothers are the bratva, the men who are loyal, who would shed their blood to protect one another. They’re devoted and honorable, men worth fighting for and at their side.
Madisyn doesn’t answer my question about why she climbed into the SUV if she thought I would kill her. It’s because she doesn’t believe I intend to hurt her.
If I’d wanted her dead, she’d have already been buried and the evidence destroyed.
“How long is this going to take? I have a hot date tonight,” Madisyn says.
I growl at her words. The thought of anyone else coming anywhere closer to her sets me on edge. “Give me your phone.”
Her brow furrows, but she hands me her cell phone. “I guess you’re going to want to frisk me, too.”
A wry smile forms at the corners of my lips. Just imagining my fingers moving over every curve of her delicious ass makes my cock throb.
“I don’t just want to. I have to frisk you,” I say. The thought of pushing her up against a wall and spreading her legs makes me want to roll down the window.
Is it warm in here?
The last thing in the world I want is for Madisyn to realize that she has me under her thumb. No, I’m the one in control. Not her. That’s how it has to be.
