Chapter 15
Myboyfriend’sfuckinghot.
Of course, I always knew that, but as I entered the living room, the words echoed in my head. He hadn’t changed, which was strange, considering we were about to play. He would be more comfortable out of those jeans and the dark blue Henley that hugged his body in all the right ways.
Maybe I should skip the kitty play and tell him exactly what I want.
Sully’s eyes softened, and his lips curved into a smile. My breath caught. I had no doubt how much he loved me. Not when he wore his heart on his sleeve.
“Beautiful.”
My face heated at his intense stare, which traveled from the kitty ears on my head down to the skimpy white-and-pink two-piece lingerie set I had on with my thigh-highs. I’d bought the outfit the day Tack and I had gone to Kitty Krave to save it.
Sully walked up to me and touched the kitty ear appliques that were at the top of the skimpy tank top. “This is new.” He fingered the hem of the pleated pink miniskirt with the white trimming. “When did you get it? You didn’t leave the house today, did you?”
I shook my head. “I bought it the last time I went to the mall with Tack.”
“Turn around.”
I slowly turned around and allowed him to take his time to feast on me. Like I’d expected, he flipped my skirt up, baring my bottom in the white lace thong.
“So virginal,” he murmured. “Kit, you want to do more than play, don’t you?” He trailed his fingertips over the edge of the lace that ran down the center in a V, and a shiver danced along my spine.
“Yes. I think I want to try something a little different today.”
“Tell me.” A hand came around to my tummy, and I gasped. Just his simple touch melted my bones.
“I—”
“First, let’s sit.”
I nodded, and he led me over to the long couch where he sat, then patted the spot next to him.
“Can I place my head in your lap, and you pet me?” I asked.
“Yes.”
I hopped up onto the couch with my legs up on the cushions and placed my head in Sully’s lap. He stroked my hair gently, and I closed my eyes and purred. It was so soothing.
Sully chuckled. “Relaxed?”
I nodded and turned over to my back. He caressed my bare stomach without missing a beat.
“I want to tell you something, but I’m not sure if I can get the words out right.”
“Kit, it doesn’t matter how they come out. I don’t need refined words. Talk to me.”
“That’s it. I’m confused about how I feel.”
“What do you mean?”
“I feel angry. So angry about what happened, and I don’t even know what happened. I can’t remember a damn thing.” Tears leaked from the corners of my eyes, and his face blurred. “It should be good that I don’t remember, right? But all I can think about is how can I be angry at something that I don’t even remember experiencing? How can I be angry when it’s not the first time it’s happened? Shouldn’t I be used to it by now?”
“Kit—”
“No, please, let me finish.”
He wiped my eyes with his thumb. “I was unhoused for a while before I started working with Nolan. In both cases, I had no choice but to sleep with people for basic things.”
