“Any time.”
Caleb reaches into his pocket and pulls out a long jewelry box. “We’re auctioning this off tonight for charity. It was supposed to be in the displays but I can think of no better way to show it off. I wanted to see it on you one last time.”
He opens the box, revealing that incredible diamond choker.
He lifts it out, and fixes it around my neck, fingertips brushing my skin and sending shivers through me. “I have fond memories of this necklace,” he murmurs in my ear.
I blush remembering the last time I wore it. Wore nothing but it. On my hands and knees, begging for his touch.
“There. Perfect.” He stands back, and offers me his arm. “Ready?”
I take a deep breath, preparing for my first public event with Caleb Sterling.
“Ready.”
