Exposed King (Boys of Brisley 2) - Page 47

“That was kinda the whole point of having my own jet, honestly. Never have I ever been on the receiving end of anal.”

I took a drink and raised my eyebrows when he took one too. “So you’ve given a blowjob and received anal. I take it you’ve had some experimental days or do you like being with both?”

“Second one. Bottoming isn’t really my thing though, I’m just a firm believer that it’s unfair as fuck to ask someone to let me do something to them that I’d never had done to me. It was the same guy I blew in a ballpark, by the way, but no, I won’t tell you his name. I’m a little afraid you might know who he is and it’s not exactly common knowledge that he’s bisexual.” He chuckled and sat back, then eyed me. “Pinky up when you drink next time, baby. We’re gentlepersons today, remember?”

“Gentlepersons talking about sex,” I chuckled. “Okay, my turn. Never have I ever had a threesome with two women.” I chose this one on purpose, because I wanted him to know he wasn’t alone. I’d had my fair share of same-sex experiences too.

I put my pinky up as I drank, then nearly choked on it as his jaw dropped and his tea spilled all over his lap.

“Fuck, that’s hot! The tea and the ... that,” he hissed, grabbing a hand towel and patting his shorts. “You don’t think the ducks will see a boner as a sign of aggression, do you?”

I couldn’t fight my laugh, it was loud and one that made me cover my mouth and let my head fall back, but Ollie being flustered at that was beyond adorable. “No sé. I don’t speak duck. Keep it hidden just in case, though. It’s mine.”

“Okay, that wasn’t very gentleperson-y of me.” He cleared his throat and poured himself another cup. “I’m okay. We’re good. Um ... nope. Sorry, still can’t think straight. Try again in like five minutes.”

I bit my lip and decided to push. “I was the middle.”

He exhaled hard as his shoulders slumped. “You’re trying to kill me, right? Is this a punishment for the banana suit and the monkey flowers? Cause I’m not sorry about that but Christ, Mia. If I get any harder I’m gonna go to jail for public indecency. What’d you do to them? What’d they do to you?” He shook his head quickly and held up his hand to stop my response, but immediately put it back in his lap. “Never mind. Don’t tell me. I refuse to die surrounded by ducks.”

The heaviness I felt as I drove here was long gone, just as it always was in Ollie’s presence. “I won’t let you die, baby. I’ll punch a duck if I have to.”

“You’re incredible. I’m almost as jealous as I am turned on, but hell.” He took a couple of deep breaths. “Okay. Gotta think about something other than sex for a moment. Never have I ever done hard drugs.”

My eyes dropped at that one, because I wasn’t sure what Ollie considered hard drugs, but the truth was I had. “I’ve done ecstasy. It’s hard to know what it’s laced with but it’s safe to say I’ve done hard drugs.” I took a small sip, slightly worried when Ollie didn’t drink. “I was a wild teen.”

“Hey, I don’t judge. You don’t need to explain yourself to me, baby. I was always too scared to try anything cause Sterling would’ve beat my ass,” he laughed. “Like seriously would’ve hurt me. I got into enough fucking trouble without that.”

I nodded, knowing I shouldn’t be nervous about scaring Ollie away now. “I want to meet him one day. Never have I ever ... got in a fight at school.”

I drank the whole damn cup after that one and he followed suit, making us both laugh hard enough to make the ducks squawk.

“Got in a few of those,” he said sheepishly. “One of them was a teacher. I got thrown out for almost a month.”

“A teacher? Malo malo, baby.” I refilled our cups and waved a hand at him. “Your turn.”

“Never have I ev—” Ollie’s gaze drifted past me and the color drained from his face. “No one said anything about there being chickens here,” he hissed. “Don’t move, baby. Maybe it won’t notice us.”

“Chickens?” I looked to see what he meant and laughed. “It’s coming this way.” I clucked playfully like I was calling it and Ollie stood so fast the table flipped, but he didn’t stick around to watch that tea set break.

He screamed like a little girl as that chicken came toward us and dashed off the other direction, and I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt as I tried to gather the broken pieces off the ground, but I gave up after a moment to go check on Ollie. I could clean up later. “Papí, what happened? No te gustan las gallinas?”

He peeked around me like he thought I was being chased, and the poor thing genuinely looked terrified. “No, I don’t fucking like chickens, and it’s not funny. Those fuckers are evil.”

“¡Ay bendito! You are the cutest man in the whole world, you know that?” I pulled him in and kissed him as a distraction. “I have to go clean the mess but you sit here and watch my back, okay? If you say they’re evil, I believe you.”

“No, no. I’ll get it. It just ... startled me, that’s all.” He clenched his jaw and straightened his spine, only jumping and yelping twice while we cleaned.

When we were finished, he deserved a much better distraction than a simple kiss, only I was suddenly nervous to ask. “Can I stay the night tonight, Ollie? Dinora already agreed to be home, but no pressure if you already have plans or something.”

“I do, actually.” He pulled me closer to kiss me again. “You’re welcome to join me if you’d like, but I told Martin I’d come help out at Lovin’ Spoonful again. He’s got me on mopping duty but said I might get to cook this time.”

I stared at him in awe like I’d done so many times before. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to how big your heart is, baby. Yeah, I’d love to come. Next date is us staying home though, $30 limit for food. Let’s not break any more expensive things. First the banana and now a tea set.” I smiled and kissed him before he could protest, and for once, he didn’t try to argue with me or change my mind.

“Deal. Then come on, we’ve got some supplies to buy.”

I was glad I wore some comfortable clothes. As we made our way to the soup kitchen I realized Ollie would probably always keep me on my toes, but luckily for us, I did seven years of ballet as a child.

Being on my toes happened to be my specialty.
