But he’s also an idiot if he thinks I can’t get out of this.
I bite down hard until I taste blood, making him jerk back, and then I rotate my wrist, yank out of his grip, and grab his balls.
He doubles over as I give them a little twist, exclaiming loudly, eyes watering as he chokes. “What the fuck, Viola!”
His reaction satisfies my inner craving for violence.
“And I don’t think my guard’s completely down yet,” I say, pulling away from him to drag on a pair of ripped denim shorts and throw over a t-shirt that hangs loosely off one shoulder.
Dino watches, still bent over, looking incredibly hot, flustered, and in pain. It takes him several seconds to stand up, massaging his dick. “Fuck, Viola. You didn’t have to damage the Crown Jewels.”
“Didn’t I?” I grab my things and stride out of the bathroom.
Dino follows me into the bedroom, limping slightly.
“Why are you following me?”
He exhales sharply, scrubbing a hand through his messy hair. “Because we need to talk. You can’t keep doing this. You need to stop.”
“Doing what? What do I need to stop?”
Dino closes my bedroom door and leans against it. Arms folded across his chest. It would be incredibly sexy if it weren’t for him eyeing me like you would a tiger about to pounce.
I cock my head at him. “Well?”
“You need to stop with the slaughter, and I mean stop. No more. It’s fucking with the plan.”
“What plan? The shit plan you and Lorcan came up with? Because I keep reminding you I charge by the hour. You can’t afford to keep me on standby and you know it.”
He glares at me, very angry indeed. “The plan was to wait until we have access to our trust funds.”
“I thought you already got yours?”
“Less than a week ago. And I barely scraped through the last of my parents’ drug tests before they agreed to give me my money.”
“Money is money no matter how hard it is to get.”
“You know we’re still waiting on Jude’s and Lor’s.”
I do know that but I choose to ignore it. It’s one of the reasons Lorcan isn’t here, and with him gone dumb and dumber don’t know what to do with me, or how to handle me. It takes three of them to field my shit, and they’re just beginning to wake up to that fact.
Not my problem.
I look up at Dino expectantly, my wet hair has already soaked my white tee making it completely transparent.
It helps that I’m not wearing a bra.
“You’ll be waiting a long time then,” I say, licking my lips.
His eyes drink me in. “Just ease off, at least until Lorcan gets back.” He sounds exasperated.
I plan to do no such thing. The list is huge. It’s going to take time to isolate every name in the book enough to take them out. I don’t have time to wait.
“Sure,” I lie, biting my lower lip. I lean back against the dresser, giving him a better view to distract him from the truth.
“Fuck, Viola. You’re driving me mad, you know that?” he croaks, unable to look away.
“It’s your stupid pact, not mine,” I retort. The boys have somehow got the idea into their heads that only one of them can have me and that I need to choose. Well, I’ve never been exclusive and I’m not about to start now. So I’ve been teasing the fuck out of them. Not all of them. Jude is a man-whore. He doesn’t need any encouragement. But Dino does. He flits between hot and cold, obviously conflicted. And Lorcan’s adhering to some strange strict guy code that I can’t crack no matter how hard I try.
