Alien Pilot Needs a Nanny (Alien Nanny Agency 2)

APRIL
April awoke feeling incredibly well-rested.
The soft light had the quality of just one sun, telling her she was waking up before Remon rose, making her feel like she was back home, in a single-sol system.
The bed beneath her felt incredibly posh, and she had the feeling of being wrapped in a cozy, safe cocoon. She still couldn’t believe Khall had given her such a room.
Khall…
The evening before slammed back into her mind all at once.
She opened her eyes fully and looked around, wondering if it might have been a dream, and not completely sure if she wanted it to be real or not.
But the room was his. It was larger and more luxurious than hers, and the bed was massive. And she felt cozy and safe because Khall’s huge body was wrapped around hers. One of his grassy green arms wrapped around her waist like a seatbelt.
April thought she could probably stay just like this all day. Unfortunately, she had no idea how late the girls slept on weekends, and she couldn’t risk them finding her here.
She eased out of his hold as slowly and gently as she could, slipping a pillow into his arms when he moaned in his sleep at her loss.
He settled in again quickly, and she tiptoed around, picking up her clothing from the floor and sliding it all back on.
As she was slipping out the door, she turned back for one last look.
She had no idea what last night had meant to Khall. If there was any chance that he was going to wake up wracked with regret, she wanted one last memory of him like this, looking disheveled and relaxed and hers.
He was more handsome than she could have imagined.
Sleep softened his usually stern features, making him look sweet and almost boyish in the warm, early-morning light.
Though he was fully dressed, she could see the muscles of his forearms where his sleeves were rolled up, and where his shirt stretched tight across his broad back.
He held me with those arms. Held me like he…
She turned and closed the door behind her, determined not to overthink things.
Maybe he slept with women all the time. Maybe a one-night stand was why the other nanny had left so angrily.
He didn’t sleep with me, though.
Well. He had literally slept with her. And true to his word, he had her screaming for release within three minutes.
But he hadn’t taken his own pleasure with her.
She thought about that as she snuck back into her own room, changed into a robe, and grabbed some fresh clothes to put on after her shower.
Once she was under the hot water, she let herself think about last night a little more.
Her life back home hadn’t really been designed for romance, or even dating. Hard work and a tiny living space shared with her big family meant she had barely explored her own body, let alone anyone else’s.
But Khall played her like a rare instrument, bringing sensations and emotions from her that she didn’t know she was capable of.
She closed her eyes and thought about the exquisite feeling of release, and what it was like for him to wrap his arms around her instead of demanding more.
There was nothing about his position or hers, nothing about anything either of them had said that would suggest he cared. Both times they had given in to temptation they had been angry.
But his actions last night spoke louder than any words.
And those actions were caring.
