Since Jude is C.E.O I start with the company and hack into his personal files. The first thing I see to confirm his fucking ass is associated with the Order is the wacked up code Dominic and I have been using to track the members here in L.A.
Because we localized our device to alert us to notifications in L.A we wouldn’t pick up anything anywhere else.
Jude’s file is riddled with the code and what I can already tell are ghost files.

I find the company ownership documents and see the stipulation that following Eric’s death Markov Tech will belong to Olivia when she turns twenty-six. I open a file labelled wedding next and find more contracts of ownership that detail Jude’s ownership of not just Markov Tech, but Olivia too through their upcoming nuptials.
These were recently uploaded a few days ago and are signed.
The ownership transfer looks like it will be completed in a few months when she turns twenty-six. I can see too that Jude plans to marry her on her birthday.
That kind of shit is not uncommon in our world, and there’s no question of why he’d want the company.
Who fucking wouldn’t?
I continue searching with a high-speed search for my name using my device and I find it along with a listing of the jobs I did for the Order.
I look through the document trying to see if there’s anything more, anything about Aleksei but I find nothing.
I search through but there are a million documents here and it would take me days to look through everything with a fine-toothed comb.
Balling my fist, I seethe, wondering what all this means.
Drawing in a deep breath I think of what I can process so far.
Olivia’s told me the truth about Jude. So, could she be telling the truth about everything else?
Just because some of what she said was believable doesn’t mean it was all true.
The good kind of liars will always tell half-truths to make you believe them. They tell you enough, so some things check out and then you gloss over the other stuff. The shit that can get you killed.
Jude is a big name, and he could be a leader in the Order for all I know. He could have sent her here to seduce the fuck out of me and kill me.
What about the letter though?

Her explanation of how she took the letter to Massimo’s office matched what Dominic said.
She could only know that if it was true. So, did Eric really write it?
Eric her brother, a member of the Order.
Members are members for life and devote everything to the cause.
But… maybe he had a change of heart and discovered something that knocked him off course and fractured his devotion.
Something like their responsibility for the death of his father?
That leads me back to the overarching thing I’m curious about.
