As the answer sinks in I remember Dr. Pearson’s prayer.
He was saying the Lord’s prayer but then added in Christ the Redeemer. The way he looked at me like he was trying to tell me something burns in my mind.
He actually giving me the answer.
He was talking about the statue in Brazil.
Christ the Redeemer.
Pearson hid the answer within a prayer because he was being watched.
He said Aleksei was still alive, still there, and he still looks like me.
Aleksei’s in Brazil.
And so is Eric.
