“You’re about to remember everything you have to atone for,” I snarled as I grabbed him by the arm and jerked him closer to me. When he looked up, I kicked his face hard enough to knock him out again, and smirked when I saw a tooth fly away at the same time as his consciousness.
Hoisting him over my shoulder, I left the room, made my way back up the stairs, then picked up the bag on the way out of my den.
