“I’ll be okay. I’ll come back here. After.” I should never

come back here. You don’t need to ever see me again. I’m

sorry. I was wrong and this is a mess, and I don’t know how to

fix it and now I’m naked with you and I liked it. My god, I

liked it so much.

“Are you sure?”

Coralyn blinked back the burn of tears. The world was

already crowding back in on her, cutting off her air supply,

fracturing all the bones that were holding her up and holding

her strong. “Yeah. I’m sure. Can I shower here?”

“Of course. I’ll make breakfast for you.”

“I’m not hungry.”

“I know, but you need to eat.” Giana kissed Coralyn’s

forehead.

She stepped back, perfectly flushed and happy, skin glowing

even though she’d given all the pleasure and taken none for

herself. There was something wrong with Coralyn because she

wanted to drag Giana to that shower with her. She wanted

more. More of that possessive touch that turned her into a

pillar of beauty and a beam of light. She’d touched and kissed

Coralyn so expertly, like they really were long-time lovers.

Not like it was the first time discovering her body. She seemed

to know exactly what Coralyn wanted.

Giana looked away, towards the white fabric blinds at the

windows. Silky, blocky, gauzy things that Coralyn had never

seen before. She looked away like she knew what Coralyn

wanted, like she heard her silent invitation, the plea screaming

through her mind. She backed away and stuffed her hands in

the pocket of her fitted dress pants. She was still wearing
