Enzo holds me close to his warm body, moving quickly through the restaurant, which is in chaos. “I didn’t even know you were here,”' I mutter to him as I almost trip on the leg of an overturned chair. Enzo keeps me steady on my feet.
He doesn’t bother with replying to me, slamming his hand into a door that leads us outside. The sun is shining bright.

Enzo hustles me into a car, slamming the door behind me before shuffling to the front. The car isn’t one that I’ve seen him drive before and I survey it as he slides into the driver’s seat.
