COSMO

Daddy’sruleaboutnot making myself come was stupid. It wasn’t my fault Virgil had forbidden me for so long and now I wanted sex every chance I got. How was I supposed to go for three whole days without coming when Daddy was inside me or using my body like he had this morning? It’d been erotic, though, the way he jerked himself off over my body and forbade me to come. A part of me loved the way he treated me like an object he controlled. I couldn’t wait for him to come home with the cock cage. I’d looked it up online and was shocked by all the different types.

Lying in bed after he’d left, I’d fantasized about the kind Hunter would buy for me until I was so horny I had to get out of bed and take a cold shower. I carefully washed my hole while sticking to my promise not to come. When I was dry and dressed, I straightened the covers. They weren’t perfect, but I couldn’t bother to keep pulling and tugging until they were as neat as Daddy made them.

In the kitchen, a plate with two sandwiches was waiting for me. I snapped a picture of myself eating breakfast and sent it to Hunter with a message that I hadn’t burned the kitchen down. He sent me a thumbs-up emoji, which wasn’t exactly the response I was hoping for. He wasn’t still mad about yesterday, was he? I’d stabbed him, and he’d fucked me within an inch of my life. I would think we were equal.

Professional and polite Hunter was nothing at all like I’d thought. The most I had hoped for was for him to fall in love with me. How was I supposed to know he would get all possessive and jealous? But I didn’t mind it in the slightest. I’d grown up with parents who didn’t want to share me with the world. That was my normal, so Hunter wanting me all to himself was sort of comforting.

After breakfast, I opened my playlist of pop songs that drove Hunter crazy and danced to the music while washing up and wiping down the kitchen. It was the least I could do for Hunter. My cooking skills weren’t worth a damn, but I could tidy up and spread my legs for him. I loved doing the latter anyway, and cleaning up kept me busy.

Since I’d helped Virgil with the laundry, I knew how to work the washing machine. I sorted our clothes and started a load. Maybe if I was extra good, he would change his mind about denying me my orgasm.

I’d just settled on the couch to finish up the second season of “Jessica Jones” when the doorbell rang. Who the hell could that be?

I opened the door. Agent Ellis stood on the steps, a determined look on his face. A nervous flutter set off in my stomach.

“Hi, Cosmo, Agent Stone will be here soon to relieve me, but I thought I’d have a chat with you before he gets here.”

He sounded innocent, but all I saw was the upset look on Hunter’s face as he’d accused me of entertaining Agent Ellis yesterday.

“Umm, what about?” I kept my hold on the door.

“Can we talk inside?”

I bit my bottom lip and peered over his shoulder. No sign of Hunter. I could let him in, and Hunter would be none the wiser.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea. Here’s fine.”

He frowned. “Let me guess. Neely doesn’t want you talking to me.”

I shrugged. “What did you want to talk about?”

“What happened yesterday.” He narrowed his eyes. “I saw the way he treated you like you were his property and—”

“But I am his property.”

“You’re not.”

I glared at him. “You don’t know anything, okay?”

“I know he crossed the line by being in a relationship with you. I could inform his superiors what he’s been up to and—”

“No, you can’t.”

“He’s taking advantage of you and your innocence, Cosmo.”

“Maybe I’m the one taking advantage of him.”

He shook his head. “You have no idea what you’re up against. Detective Neely should know better than to get involved with someone who was a part of our case.”

“So if Hunter lets me go, what do you think will happen? I’d be free to talk to you instead?”

His face turned red, and he took a step back. “I’d treat you better than the way he did yesterday. I could see everything through the window—the way he was… violating you, and you couldn’t do anything about it. You should report him for assaulting you.”

“It’s not assault if I provoked and wanted it.”

“You don’t know what you want. Can’t you see that’s why it’s so easy for him to take advantage of you?”
