“Oh fuck. Oh, fuck me.”

He grins. “Is that a request?”

“Shut up, Soren…”

He nuzzles into my neck and plants kisses all over my shoulder as I come apart piece by piece. Within seconds, I’m thrusting so hard that I think I might hurt Parker’s face, but he groans right into the movements, burying his face deep into my pussy.

When I’m done, I slump into Soren’s arms as Parker stands up. Soren turns my face to Parker and urges, “Lick yourself off his face.”

The way Parker touches me—so lightly that it almost hurts—makes me wonder whether this could work.

It’s certainly better than being alone.

My house feels like such a downgrade to what transpired this afternoon. Being at school is a breath of fresh air compared to what I have to deal with in my house. I wander into the foyer, my ears prickling with attention as I try to identify who’s around. When the coast looks clear, I make a dash for my room, hauling ass up the stairs and to my bedroom.

Fingers graze my shoulder at the top of the staircase, causing me to veer right. I flip around to see Amos standing expectantly near an open door. The determined look on his face makes me feel so sick that I think I might barf for a second.

“Don’t run away from me,” he commands. “I need you to help me with something.”

“Fuck you.”

He raises his eyebrows. “That’s no way to speak to your stepfather.”

“You haven’t even married my mother yet. You’re nothing to me.”

“Fix your mouth, Ms. Alex.” I cringe—only Soren is allowed to call me that. “Or I’ll fix it for you.”

I step back as he advances, putting as much distance between us as possible. “You murdered Lev, didn’t you?”

“You’re a smart girl, Alex. I’m sure you can figure it out for yourself.”

The fact that he doesn’t deny it makes my heart skip a beat. “You’re a monster.”

He grins wickedly while closing in on me, boxing me against a wall. “Tell me, did you do something with those boys again? Or have you been a good girl?”

“You sick freak.”

“Come on, Alex. Show me how good you’ve been.”

His hand slides over my thigh, urging my body to react. I grab his face and ram my knee into his groin so swiftly that it makes him bow forward. His temporary injury gives me a chance to squirm away from him, taking a few tentative steps down the hallway that leads to my bedroom.

Amos growls. “If you so much as think of making another deal,” he warns, “you’re dead. Do you understand me?”

“Eat shit and die, pig.”

Triumph invades my chest as I turn around and run. He shouts after me, all empty threats and warnings that mean nothing to me at this point.

“I own you and your mother!” he screams. “Don’t you forget that!”

I slam the door and turn the lock, gasping for air as I lean against the wood to keep myself from falling over. The power coursing through my veins is immeasurable. It’s infectious how I feel. And I hope hard that I can keep feeling it.
