Jacolby and Paxton warmed my heart in more ways than one. It felt good to write a lighthearted romance without the extra complexities I’m notoriously known for. My focus wasn’t on their romance. My focus was on their purpose to each other and that in return birthed purpose. Not just for them but for me too.
Jacolby forgave Paxton on her terms, and I respect her for that. Paxton healed on his terms. I loved him for that. Both characters served each other.
