Mafia Monster's Forced Bride

She giggled and shook her head. “I can’t believe we’re talking about this.”
“We’re going to need to burn the sheets,” Roman said.
“How?”
“I’ll handle it. Don’t worry.” He dropped a kiss to her lips.
“Do you want to go again?” she asked.
His cock pulsed inside her.
“You’re not sore?”
“I am a little, but I really want to do that again.” This time, she didn’t expect there to be any pain.
Roman groaned. “Why do I feel I have awakened a monster?”
“Because I think you have.”
“I don’t have a problem with that.”

“You have let the adoption process continue?” Liam asked.
“Yes.”
“And you think this is wise?”
“We can’t stop it. It has already gone through.”
Liam sighed and sat down in the chair, sipping at his scotch. He didn’t like this. “I never wanted Alex to get involved with those kids.”
“And once again, I’m sorry that she has had to. I don’t think they will ever suspect anything.”
“That those kids are the abandoned bastards of your capos?” Liam asked.
He had discovered the truth when Alex had found Stuart. It had pissed him off. He’d been tempted to allow his daughter to adopt the young kid, but when Stuart was instantly placed in the secluded home, it hadn’t taken Liam long to put two and two together. It was why he purchased the place.
At the time, Lucas and he hadn’t formed an agreement, and there was no fucking way he would put his daughter at risk. He had no choice but to take responsibility for those kids, and so, he made sure the home was secured and the necessary funding was available to them.
Finding Stuart, purchasing the house and grounds, and then funding the orphanage was what put himself and Lucas on the path to an alliance.
What he had hated was using his daughter. Alex was never supposed to be part of the bargain, but Liam and Lucas had known that any agreement between them wouldn’t be binding without putting the people they loved in place.
Alex and Roman, their firstborns. To Liam, his only child, and to Lucas, his firstborn son and precious heir.
“Be careful, Liam. I had to do what was necessary to protect them. They are Greco blood,” Lucas said.
“No, they’re no one’s blood,” Liam said. “Abandoned, left for dead, and in some cases abused. I know the backstory of all those kids.” And he had no choice but to modify the details so Alex would never know. His daughter wasn’t stupid. With the marriage and attacks, she hadn’t continued her questioning about the orphanage.
Liam knew it was only a matter of time before she discovered the truth.
He had to wonder if Roman was even aware of it. He doubted it. Roman was an interesting man. Loyal to his father, but in the past few weeks, he’d shown a loyalty to Alex, which surprised Liam.
Roman wasn’t a man easily brought down by a woman, and in the early days of their marriage, Liam truly believed he’d fucked up in getting his daughter to marry Roman. Now though, he had to wonder if he did, in fact, pick the right choice. He saw the look in Roman’s eyes. The possessiveness. It was the same within his own over his own woman. Only time would tell if Roman got this right with Alex or not.
