He led her into her bedroom and turned down the covers. Locating her sleepshirt under her pillow, he dropped it over her head. “Under the covers, baby girl,” he directed, holding the sheet up for her to slide inside.
He tucked the sheets around her chin before looking around the room. She held her breath as he walked to her dresser and scooped the plush platypus up gently to carry it to her bed.
Her Daddy stroked the fur softly before asking, “What’s his name?”
“Her name,” Belinda corrected, “is Bubbles.”
Pedro turned the creature around to speak to her personally. “I am glad to meet you, Bubbles. Keep my Little safe, please.”
He held her up to his ear and listened before answering, “Thank you, Bubbles.”
Gently, he tucked her into Belinda’s arms and kissed her temple. Through heavy eyelids, she watched him open her nightstand and remove the lubricant and the small wand vibrator. “Daddy will hold on to this for you. Sleep, baby girl.”
Belinda closed her eyes. She heard him moving around her apartment for a few minutes. She was so tired and quickly lost her battle to stay awake.
