Dr. Knight: A Billionaire Holiday Romance - Page 85

After a few sucks, Ellis stops. Just as I think her turn is over, she climbs on top of me. She lets out deep breaths as she takes my cock slowly inside her. Then, when I’m completely sheathed in her warmth, she pauses to take one more.

I pause myself to take in the sight of her sitting on top of me. But if I thought that was breathtaking, the spectacle of her as she starts moving is even more amazing.

I don’t know which part of her to focus my gaze on. Her hair is swaying to and fro past her shoulders. Her face is consumed with pleasure. Her eyes are squeezed shut. Her lips are slightly parted. Her cheeks are all rosy. Her breasts bounce each time she jerks her hips. When she leans back, my eyes go to her belly and I imagine it swollen.

When Ellis moves faster, though, I can no longer simply watch or admire her. She’s moving up and down on my cock and the pleasure swims beneath my skin. I grip her hips and move my own to match her rhythm. Together, we dance, wilder and faster and…

“Ellis!” I shout her name before pulling her mouth to mine just before the first wave of pleasure hits.

She pulls her mouth away and cries out my name as she begins to tremble.

“Rainier!”

Her body quakes atop mine and loses control. Her fingers dig into my shoulders and she throws her head back. I wrap my arms around her as I wait for my cock to stop pulsing inside her. After it finally does, I pull her in for one more kiss before I start gasping for air.

Ellis climbs off me and lies down beside me near the fire. I grab her coat and put it on top of us both. Then I kiss the top of her head.

“Merry Christmas,” I greet her.

“Merry Christmas.” Ellis looks up at me with a grin. “And thank you for the present. It was amazing.”

I touch her nose. “Actually, that’s not the present either.”

Her eyebrows arch. “What?”

I get off the rug and exit the living room. When I come back, I have a box behind me.

Ellis sits up and rubs her hands. “I wonder what it is.”

I laugh because she’s acting like a child. I guess that’s one of the things I’ll always love about her.

I kneel beside her and present her with the satin box. Ellis gasps.

I open the box so she can see the diamond ring inside.

“Now, I know you’ve seen this before,” I tell her. “But I didn’t actually propose before, so now, I’ll do that.”

I shift my legs so I’m just on one knee.

“Ellis Smithson…”

“Northup,” she corrects me.

I chuckle. “Right.”

I’m still not used to it, I guess.

“Ellis Northup, will you marry me?”

She touches her cheek. “Are you sure you’d rather not die than marry a Northup?”

“Not this Northup,” I tell her. “I promise to love her all my life.”

She smiles. “Even though I’m a Northup?”

“Well, you won’t be one for long if you say yes.”

She chuckles and gives me a kiss. “Yes, Rainier Knight, I will marry you.”

She holds out her hand and I slip the ring onto her finger. Then I plant a kiss on top of her hand before giving her another kiss on the lips.

“I love you,” I tell her again.

“I love you, too,” she replies as she strokes my cheek. “I know you’ll always take care of me and protect me.”

I kiss her forehead. “Because I’m your doctor and your knight in shining armor.”

Ellis chuckles. “And my future husband.”

I brush my lips against hers once more. “And you are my life.”

I wrap my arms around her. She does the same. As I stroke her hair, I watch the Christmas lights flicker. A smile coats my lips.

For the first time in my life, I love Christmas. And I have a feeling that from now on, I always will, because I have the best present of all. It’s one I didn’t even ask for, but it’s a present that will keep on giving and growing.

My family.
