“She truly is. This is a dream come true for me. Looking around and seeing everything she has been able to create, the execution is phenomenal. I don’t know if anyone else could ever have done it,” I say as tears well in my eyes.
Ivy and I, over the past couple of months, have become quite close working on this project together. Also, Alistair and Alex being best friends means we spent time together outside of work, and Lauren and I have happily welcomed her into our circle.
“It’s been my pleasure,” Ivy says as she gives Lauren and me a hug.
“It’s time, guys,” Alistair calls out, breaking up our hug.
“You ready?” Lauren asks me, grabbing my hand as we stare at the excited faces of the people standing outside.
