The Wife Win

Marek sits upright alongside me, and we each shift into a crossed-leg position in somewhat of a face-off.
“You’ve already read it then?”
I scoff sarcastically. “Only because my boss made me and even extracted passages for me to ask you about at Monday’s team press conference.”
It’s like we’re in one of those indoor flying experiences where all the air gets sucked out of a wind tunnel room. Everything just drops.
Marek’s mouth gapes open and I give him a look that saysyep.
“What the actual fuck? You mean to tell me that Herve Schueller, the GM of the station, is aware of this?”
I shake my head and shrug, picking at some nonexistent lint on the pillow I grabbed to cover my naked parts. It’s a little difficult to have a conversation like this with my boobs hanging free. Very distracting for both of us.
“Not that I know of. I haven’t met him. But my boss, Alex, is the one who gave it to me. He’d already highlighted the more scintillating passages. The douche nozzle.”
This exclamation garners a laugh from Marek. I peer up at him, wondering if he’s lucid right now. Nothing of what I said is funny in the least.
“Why are you laughing at me?”
He reaches over and tweaks my nose. “You’re cute when you’re all riled up and growly.”
“Ah!” I whip the pillow at his face, and he falls to his side. But not before he grabs hold of my arm and brings me down on top of him, our bodies fitting together like a lock and a key.
Marek’s the key that’s unlocked my heart.
He lifts his head and kisses me on my lips, gently teasing his tongue along the lower lip before sucking it between his teeth.
“I haven’t read it yet. Does it mention how big my dick is? Or what an amazing lover I am?”
I know he’s trying to lighten the mood with his jokes, but his long length begins to grow between my legs and my mind threatens to go blank, blocking out all thoughts of the book or any upcoming press conference. Nothing matters except the present when I’m with Marek.
With him between my legs and his body moving underneath me, and soon inside me, it strikes chords of contentment in my heart.
I swoon when he finally enters me with the words “I love you, Harper,” on his lips.
