Misha’s tongue stole a taste before sitting up. His lopsided grin didn’t quite match the assessing gleam in his eyes. “I surely do not want you to leave.”

I reached out and cupped his firm jaw, charmed beyond all good sense. “Then, I’ll do my best to stay.”

“Do not worry. You already have.”

Before I could respond , Misha settled his body on mine and kissed me until I couldn’t see straight. His hand fisted my hair, tugging harder the longer we kissed. I gasped in pleasured pain and he immediately let go. Misha kissed his way down my body, tasting me intimately until I cried out his name.

The next hours were passionate, toe-curling, can’t-remember-my-own-name kind of lovemaking. Misha made me explode so many times—on my back, on my knees, on my side, and over him. Misha fucked me hard, soft, and everything in-between.

“Oh, Misha!” Fingers digging into his shoulders, I gained my feet and bounced up and down on that beautiful cock.

Misha growled, “I’ll never let go.”

I took it as an unspoken threat. Sexy and dangerous. My core flooded in ecstasy.

“Look at me, Ava.”

I gazed into those wild eyes. I swore our souls synced. I crumbled into thoughts that were lavender and pastel green, warm and thunderous cold. I broke apart and then sank into him.

“Ava.” Misha came with me.

He took me to heaven.

We panted. Our hearts boomed against the other. Sweat coated our skin. My thighs burned. I tried to catch my breath.

I’m so glad I invited him back.

There would never be any regrets to my time with Misha. He was better than anything I could’ve ever imagined.

Oh my goodness. How many times have we had sex?

He was loving warmth and full support. He was a friend and protector. He was gorgeous and gentle. And he wasn’t some crazy wierdo.

He was normal.

Completely normal.

When we finally finished, I kissed his chest, savoring the taste of Misha’s skin.

I’ve got everything I want—my due in my career. . .and. . .maybe I’ve found someone special too. Everything is finally working out.

Grandma had said that all one had to do was just go after their dreams. If the person did that, then everything that they deserved would come to them. There was no need to worry or focus on what the person didn’t have. They just had to keep on moving forward. Running and racing after their dreams. And it would all come.

Grandma, you were right.

Chapter 4

Misha

After the nightmare and our hot lovemaking sessions, Ava fell back to sleep.

I studied her.

How lucky am I?

The covers pooled around that beautiful body.

For a few seconds, she mumbled something.

I strained to hear it. And then she reached her hand out as if she was reaching for me in her dream. I tenderly grabbed it, and the mumbling stopped. Her body stilled against mine.

My heart warmed at the possibility of our future. Whether she was dreaming about me or not, I couldn’t stop the joy of these past hours.

Could this work?

Valentina had said Ava would never understand our life. Although Valentina was mental, I didn’t doubt the honesty in that opinion.

That is not a decision I will have to make. Ava will never know. I will keep it all from her. She will never have to deal with any brotherhood enemies or the other things that come with that life.

Now that my father was gone, I could live the way I’d always desired. That meant being far from all of the death and violence.

Kazimir wouldn’t need me. He was the lion—the fiercest beast on this planet. I would come to his rescue, if necessary. But there would be no reason to stand at his side. Too many others would fight for the position.

My cousin will understand.

Ava had given me a taste of love, and now I would never let her go. While it had been a pleasure to watch her dance, and a pleasure just to talk to her the few times I accidentally bumped into her, these recent moment addicted me to her. Linked us. Made me even more obsessed.

There is no way I can let her walk away now.

My cock twitched at the thought of Ava finally being mine.

Other women had left me cold. Alone. Bored. Unsatisfied.

Not Ava.

I lifted my fingers and lightly brushed her cheeks. If it had been up to me, I would’ve let her sleep, but I promised to wake her up as soon as the sun finished rising. And currently, the sun had climbed the horizon, filling the cityscape of St. Petersburg with light.

I bent and brushed my lips over hers. “Ava.”

Her eyes blinked open. For an instant, she seemed lost. Then, Ava focused her gaze on me. A soft smile curved her lips.

She was the sexiest thing I had ever seen.

“Is it close to the afternoon already?” she whispered.

“Yes.” I kissed her again. “What do you have to do today? I would think your company’s new prima ballerina would get a day off.”
