Dralle's Bride (Crystal Glass Dragons 4)

I felt the blood drain from my face.
The vision was coming true.
“Isaac, wait-”
“No, you said I’m off for the day. Maybe I’ll go move in with some psycho murderer too.” His face was red with fury, and I was nauseous with the anger that was coming off him.
He stormed off, and my heart broke.
I’d never seen him this angry before.
“God, he really knows how to be a little shithead,” Richard sighed. “Are you okay?”
I felt tears stirring, and I shook my head.
“Come here, babe.” Richard pulled me into his arms and hugged me. I cried, confused and terrified that the vision was getting closer. He was going to die, and it was my fault for not turning Dralle down on sight. He was right. “He’s just got control issues since mom and dad died. He’s trying to deal with a lot of information; he’s just doing it wrong.”
I knew Richard was telling the truth, but it still hurt.
He squeezed me a little tighter and wiped the tears off of my face as he pulled back. “We could close up the shop and order some Chinese food to talk this out,” he offered.
“You’re just trying to get out of figuring out what’s wrong with that car,” I laughed with more tears coming out.
“Can you blame me? The thing’s a mess.”
He chuckled and hugged me again.
He never believed in the dreams because he never had visions, so he probably didn’t get how serious this was. My chest ached, and I felt like I could fall over if I didn’t steady myself.
I didn’t want to lose my brother.
