I’d only had sex a few times in high school, but I could never get off. The only thing that ever pushed me over the edge and let me orgasm was the thought of being forcibly taken by someone bigger and stronger. Now HardcoreDom had promised to make those desires a reality, but first, I needed the suite to myself.

I counted down the moments until Todd left. He futzed around the suite, packing up odds and ends, going too slowly. I followed him like a little dog nipping at his heels.

“Come on, Todd. It’s just a weekend. You don’t need to pack everything you’ve ever owned in your entire life.” I plopped down on the couch, frustration welling up and warring with the butterflies in my stomach.

“What’s gotten into you? I’ll be gone soon enough. Jeez. You get up to college and all the sudden you’re some sort of prima donna.” Todd ruffled my hair like I was a five-year-old.

I swatted his hand away. I’d only spent two hours getting it just right for HardcoreDom. I gave him the meanest look I could muster.

He held his hands up and laughed. “Fine, fine. I’m going. Just a few more things.”

He dug around next to the couch for his ereader and then went to the kitchen for some snacks. The suite was open except for our separate bedrooms, so I glared at him from the couch.

“They have snacks on the airplane, you know?” I got up and opened the cabinet pantry to toss some crackers and gummy bears into his messenger bag carryon. I would stuff the entire contents of the kitchen in there if it would get him moving.

There was a knock at the door. My stomach flipped. Oh shit, HardcoreDom is early!

When I didn’t move, Todd raised an eyebrow at me and closed the fridge. “Aren’t you going to get it?”

“No. I-I- um…”

“Weirdo.” He rolled his eyes and went to the door.

“No, don’t—”

Todd swung the door open. Jericho was there, not HardcoreDom after all. I let out a sigh of relief and sank onto the nearest barstool. The leather was smooth against my bare legs, cooling off the tell-tale heat that thoughts of HardcoreDom created in me. I wore a short sundress, a little too summery for the fall, but it was something I didn’t mind having ripped off my body. I thrilled at the thought, goose bumps rising along my thighs.

“You ready to go?” Jericho asked.

“Yeah, man.” Todd scratched his head and dropped a mini bottled water into his bag. “Did I, uh, ask you to take me to the airport? Because I’ve already got Garrett picking me up out front in, like, five minutes.”

“No.” Jericho smiled, his perfect dimples making an appearance. “I just came to say have a nice trip. Well, that and I left a pair of my cleats here somewhere last weekend.”

Jericho was a beautiful man. Dark hair, green eyes, killer tan from so much practice out in the sun. He was tall and built of nothing but muscle and confidence. Too bad he only thought of me as Todd’s little sister.

I stared a little too long at his toned forearms. When I looked up, he was watching me with those dark green eyes. My skin heated at his gaze. It was somehow different than the way he usually looked at me. It was intense. Was something on my face?

I shook my head and looked away. It didn’t matter, HardcoreDom would be here soon. I needed Jericho and Todd to clear out. Todd kept bumbling. I felt Jericho’s gaze on me like a weight. I did everything I could to keep from looking at him. Oh, god, there is something on my face!

A horn honked out front and I jumped a little.

“What is with you today, spaz?” Todd closed the flap on his messenger bag and grabbed the handle of his rolling luggage. “It’s just Garrett coming to pick me up.”

“Is there anything on my face?” I blurted.

Todd shook his head like I was a basket case. “Nothing other than your usual dumb look.”

I pushed him playfully. “Asshole.”

“Be good while I’m gone or I’ll tell Mom and Dad.”

I mimicked him in a high-pitched voice before giving him a kiss on the cheek and a hug. “Have a safe trip. I’ll see you Sunday night.”

He smiled, still the same boyish grin I remembered from our childhood. “Okay. I’ll text when I land. I hope to be in a drunken stupor for the rest of the wedding weekend, but I’ll try and check up on you a few times.”

“Sure, sure. Sounds good.” If I could have shoved him out the door, I would have.

“Be careful. See you when you get back.” Jericho and Todd embraced with the usual masculine back clapping before Todd finally left. He clunked his bag down the stairs.
