“Trevor . . .”

“Hold on,” he mutters.

I do. Just in time.

“Oh, my God!” My body stiffens, my back arching off the table as a shock of ecstasy floods my body. He presses on my stomach with his hand to keep me still as he comes apart under the soft light above.

His eyes squeeze shut, his teeth clenched so hard I can see the strain in the sides of his neck. His hips thrust against my legs as he finds his moment of pleasure.

Too soon, the only sound around us is our ragged breaths. When he opens his eyes, he grins.

I’m limp, my body having given up all strength and energy. Keeping my eyes open is hard.

“Anything else you want to say?” he teases, rotating his hips. His cock, still inside me, sends a jolt of sensation through my overly sensitive body.

“No,” I say, sopping up the final rays of pleasure. “That was excellent. Thank you.”

He snorts, shaking his head in amusement.

His cock begins to slide out, causing a massive aftershock to ripple through my body. I moan again. He grows harder inside me. I give him a look, making him laugh before he pulls out the rest of the way.

He takes my hand and helps me sit up.

Bending forward, his lips right next to my ear, he whispers, “That was better than excellent.” A grin parting his cheeks, he helps me off the table.

My body aches in a delicious throb as I find my belongings. My head is numb, unable to overthink this yet. I’m grateful for that.

“There’s a washroom over there,” he says, pointing to a little room to my right. “Light switch by the door.”

I start to go, but he grabs my arm. I look at him over my shoulder to see a cloud over his eyes. He searches me with the care of a surgeon.

It’s my heart that’s on fire now as I watch him watch me like nothing else matters in this moment. It matters more because we’re on this side of things, through sex, through the buildup of desire that’s been taking place over the last few days.

He pulls me into his chest and wraps his arms around me. His face nuzzles in my hair as he presses a simple kiss to the top of my head. “I shouldn’t say thank you because that’s all sorts of wrong. But this was pretty amazing. So however I should say that, let’s pretend I did.”

I place a kiss on his sternum and smile against his skin. “And whatever I should say back, consider it done.”

He laughs and releases me, and I head toward the washroom.

“Hey, Ohio?”

“Yeah, Thief?”

“Your ass is amazing.”

I flip on the light. Before I shut the door, I peek out the side. “That’s a no-go area. Just for the record.”

I hear him laugh as I shut the door.

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

HALEY

I have no idea what time it is, but I know it’s early. Way early. Too early to be up on a weekend.

“Ohio, for the love of God, get up,” Trevor says.

My eyes struggle to open. But when they do, what a view they behold.

Trevor is sitting on the bed beside me, fresh from a shower. He’s dressed, holding a glass of orange juice in his hand.

“Come back at a reasonable hour,” I mutter.

“You’re not a morning person, I take it,” he teases.

“It’s too early.” I pull a pillow over my face.

“Is this a sexual hangover? I fuck you three times and you wake up sick? I’ve heard this happens.”

My pillow drops to my chest. “You really think a lot of yourself, don’t you?”

“I’m riding pretty high since I got to sleep with you last night.” He shrugs. “Don’t blame me. This one is on you.”

I snuggle into the blankets, the ones covering the bed in Trevor’s room. The bed in my room is untouched, and I wonder if he’ll leave me alone if I get up and go in there.

I look at him.

There’s no chance.

“I’m supposed to be living my best life,” I grumble. “Waking up before the sun is all the way up isn’t my best life.”

He sighs and gets to his feet. The next thing I know, the curtains are spread open and sunlight fills the room. “The sun is all the way up. Now get up.”

“No,” I whine.

The blankets are ripped off me. The cold air from Trevor’s need to sleep at sixty-eight degrees below zero slams into my naked skin.

“Hey,” I shout, trying to pull them back up. The bastard refuses to let them go.

“Up.”

“No.” I cover my breasts with my forearms. “Give me my blankets.”

He grins. “How about I give you something else?”

Instantly, my knees fall open. “Okay.”

A single “Ha!” shoots through the air as he watches me from the foot of the bed. “I like the way you think, but no. That’s not what I’m going to give you. Not right now, anyway.”
