Truth is, I’d go to the laundromat with her and probably have the best time of my life, so I was game for whatever she wanted.

We drove to the east end of town, which is a primarily Hispanic area. She directed me to this little red-and-yellow painted building, with flashing Christmas lights around the windows and little wooden tables with mismatched chairs out front.

She told me to have a seat, and she’d get us the food. Buddha dropped to the floor by my feet as I handed Emmy a hundred dollars and told her to order anything and everything she wanted. That made her laugh, telling me if I could eat ten dollars’ worth of food at this place, she’d be amazed.

I told her to tip the server whatever was left. In she went, then out she came with a brown sack filled with the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever eaten. Tortillas filled with chorizo and eggs, roasted peppers and potatoes, and a salsa that had my mouth humming for more. Then there were the tamales. In all the five-star restaurants I’ve eaten at, I don’t know if I’ve ever moaned so much over a meal in my life.

After that, I was happy we were headed for the park and a walk because I think I gained ten pounds in that one sitting.

We talked about her family. Her father was Hispanic, and even though she never knew him, she’s tried to find some solace by embracing that part of her heritage, and she said the food has become something that makes her feel in her own little way like he’s with her.

She says she has her mother’s hair and eyes, and her father’s taste buds. All I know is, whatever she is, I want more.

After that, I told her I wanted to take her shopping for things she would need at the house. She balked, but I insisted, and she made me a deal on the condition I let her pick the store.

She pulled out her phone and found the nearest Target, and I started to complain, but she said a deal is a deal, so off to Target we went.

Inside, she lifted Buddha up and into the cart. When the woman at the customer service counter gave us a dirty look Emmy told her was my therapy dog and whenever I was without him, I would break down into hysterical sobs, so it was better for everyone involved if she just let us be on our way.

As the woman eyed me, I screwed up my face, wiping away a few imaginary tears as Emmy choked back laughter and Buddha went for his first ride in a shopping cart.

Along the way, I grabbed another cart, which we filled with anything I thought she would want and anything she did want. Clothes, shoes, hair ribbons, shampoo, body wash, bath bombs, cherry lip gloss, and lingerie, which I had her take into the dressing room and try on for me.

If it wasn’t for Buddha being outside the dressing room in the cart, I would have spent the day in there, fucking her until security escorted us out. Instead, I settled for finger-banging her with my hand over her mouth until she gushed then put her back together as she pouted and begged for my dick.

She’s wearing one of the new outfits she picked out, a little denim dress that buttons up the front and holds her tits perfectly, without a bra.

As she comes over to take the leash from my hand, the near-permanent smile that has taken over my face since I brought her home yesterday grows wider, making my cheeks ache.

“Now, watch. In your head,” she points her index finger between my eyebrows and taps twice, “picture yourself and Buddha walking. He’s following just behind you, the leash is loose, and you are looking ahead, leading him, not down at him, hoping he will come with you. You have to picture what you want and believe it will happen. Buddha will respond to that, not to this.” She raises the leash and jiggles it a little.

“How about I picture you with a collar and leash, crawling toward me, my cock out and your mouth open?”

She twists her lips. “Really?”

I shrug. “Sounds fun.”

There’s a twinkle in her wondrous green eyes as she gives a playful huff and turns away, walking confidently, and Buddha grunts and stands, starting to walk right next to her.

“Traitor,” I grouse and fall in step behind them, watching her ass wiggle and wondering how long it will take us to get to the tree line at the back of the park so I can fuck her and relieve some of the pressure that is rising to near-unbearable proportions in my dick.

“It’s all in the mind.” She turns her head, her hair falling around her shoulders, as Buddha huffs and speeds his steps to keep up with her.
