Loved By Him - Tattooed Brides

“Perfect. You should add your long pearls to the short ones. It’ll draw his attention to your boobs.”
“Christy!” I say in mock shock.
“What? It’s true.”
“Fine,” I tell her grabbing the pearls.
“Go. Grammy and Gramps are already here. Don’t drink,” she says giving me a hug.
“I won’t baby girl. You are quite grown up, aren’t you?”
“Thank for noticing. See you tomorrow,” she says laughing.
I head downstairs to where Jimmy’s waiting for me, he makes some sort of strangled noise in the back of his throat.
“You like?” I ask spinning around.
“I love. You look fucking beautiful,” he says helping me into my coat.
“Thank you, husband.”
“I knew you’d be trouble, baby.”
“Trouble. That’s an old line.”
“Whatever, it worked,” he says as he takes my hand, like he’s done a thousand times before and helps me into the car.
“It did. The tattoos helped though but those sexy as hell elbow patches sealed the deal for me,” I tell him.
“I bet. What do you think about skipping the party and heading straight to our room?”
“You know I can’t do that, Jimmy. As much as I want to.” God, do I really want to.
“I know, but I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask,” he says taking my hand.
“Later. I promise.” He brings my hand to his lips and kisses it.
“I love you, Madalinn. Merry almost Christmas.”
“I love you too, James. Merry almost Christmas to you too.”
Loving him was easy but being loved by him was unexpected but now I can’t remember what it was like before him.
He is my end and my beginning.
My first and my last.
He. Is. Everything.
