The wedding ceremony goes by in a blur, but in the end, I am Mrs. Quincy Adam Cox, finally.

After the ceremony, the reception is more of a breakfast instead of a party. With the wedding at eleven o’clock in the morning, brunch seemed like the way to go. When the last guests are gone, we head for the airport. Three weeks in Europe is the most perfect honeymoon I could have asked for. Our first-class seats are more like beds and as soon as we are buckled in, I tell him our news.

“I’m pregnant,” I say smiling. My husband gives me the biggest grin and kisses me soundly. Though I knew he would be excited, I still breathe a sigh of relief.

“Bad girl, keeping something like that from me won’t do in the future.”

“I promise.”

I make about to tell him the moment I know about it from now on. Once we are in the air, he drags me to the bathroom and fucks me epically. Twice the put-out flight attendant had to ask if we were okay in there. She knew what was going on but luckily said nothing. I will tell you it wasn’t as easy as movies make it out to be, but it was so worth it. I’m a lot of things but thin isn’t one of them, but my man is creative as fuck. I love that man more than I ever thought possible and he loves me so much everyone knows it. When I was a little girl, I never thought that I would end up with a man like him but I’m so glad that I did.

Later in life, I found out that Jefferson was supposed to deliver that commencement address but was unable to and every single day I thank God for that. I love my life everything is possible because of him. He saw me, wanted me, and made it happen.

What more could a girl like me ever ask for?

Epilogue

Quincy

Two Years Later

Two years with Gina and I am a changed man. Our son, Adam, is a bright boy. He loves just hanging out with us since we are both homebodies so that works out well. It’s nothing really special going on today but I do have a surprise for my wife. I rented out an entire movie theater in order to get an early viewing of a movie starring her favorite actor, Keanu Reeves. There’s a lot of award buzz for this movie about a futuristic soldier who saves the world from a sadistic overlord and falls in love with said overlord’s youngest daughter while doing it. She is very excited to see it. It’s pretty much the only thing I’ve heard about for a year. She doesn’t know that my in-laws have already picked Adam up for the evening, but she soon will. For now, she thinks that they are going out for ice cream.

Since she had Adam she has worked from home. It’s a good thing marketing can be done from anywhere. She excels at her job and I couldn’t be prouder of her. Though I still can’t pinpoint it, what I saw in her the day of her graduation still rings true. Tomorrow afternoon we launch the campaign she created for the new gadget we invented. It is a multi-purpose phone once used by the military but has since been decommissioned for public use. It is an innovation from the last twenty years of cellular phones. She has worked tirelessly on this campaign and I’m honestly surprised she’s not at her desk when I walk into her home office.

Following the sound of the shower, I find her in our bathroom. Through the glass doors, I can see that she is washing her hair, so I take that opportunity to strip down in order to join her. Setting my Cox 2311 on the counter along with my watch and wallet, I see a pregnancy test. Glancing at it, I notice that it is positive. Before I start shouting from the rooftops, I should ascertain whether she knows if it’s positive or not.

“Gin, have you seen this yet?” I ask. She gasps.

“Shit. You scared me, babe. Seen what?” she asks.

“Your pregnancy test on the counter.”

“Oh, that? No. I just took it and decided to take a shower so that I didn’t think about it. Those are the worst three minutes of my life. What does it say?” she asks excitedly.

“We’re going to have another baby,” I all but shout.

“Thank God. I was starting to think that there was something wrong with me.”

“It’s not possible, Gin. You are simply perfection,” I say climbing into the shower behind her. We have had some problems getting pregnant again and I know that this takes a huge weight off of her shoulders. Believe me, I have buried myself in her willing cunt so many times since Adam was born that I can understand why she thought that there was a problem. I watch her finish washing up. Just thinking about her gets me hard so getting to watch a floor show is a no-brainer. We switch places after conditions her hair so that I am under the water and then quickly take care of business. When I’m all done, she stares at me. Leaning down, I kiss her. She pulls back from me.
