Instant Obsession (Best Friends Duet 2)

I practically stormed out of the house, feeling the cold air strike me in the face. “Sir,” Bentley says, opening the door for me to jump in the back.
“Thanks,” I mutter. The entire drive, my dick remains stiff as fuck. I’d free it from my pants, but I don’t want to ruin the limo. Closing my eyes, I think about her. It’s all I can do is think about my woman. She’s smart, beautiful, and has enough attitude to keep me on my toes.
I still have to spank her for messing up my closet the other day. She thinks it’s funny to watch me get flustered. She’s going to have a lot to make up for and she’s going to spend the rest of her life trying to work my nerves. I can’t wait.
Chapter 6
Addison
I want you on the bed, naked, Addison. Naked and ready for me, he growls. His chocolate colored eyes darken and stare into mine with pure unadulterated lust as he tosses me gently onto the bed. My body throbs and aches in ways that feel so foreign and yet so right. I know it’s all because of him. No one, not a single soul could bring out this longing that Tanner does. His hands touch my skin, searing and marking me.
A pounding on the door startles us.
I go flailing off the bed, only saved from busting my face by the many blankets I somehow entangled myself in. Someone just forced me from the most amazingly realistic dream. Damn whoever is at the door. They ruined my fantasy of the most frustratingly sexy man around.
“Addison, we have a problem,” Madison enters my room at this ungodly hour. For someone who doesn’t like waking up early, she’s in here before the sun’s up, ruining my fantastic dream.
The wedding is at eleven and any last-minute mishaps would indeed be terrible. I look over at the alarm clock on the nightstand. It’s already four in the morning, so this is an awful time to learn of a problem.
I sit up right on the edge of the bed that I want to steal out of this house because it’s so freaking comfortable, and groggily ask, “What’s wrong?”
“My future MIL will be here early. Apparently she wants to help me get ready.”
“Oh hell no. She should be arriving with the other guests.” She’s the reason we didn’t have a rehearsal dinner. Tanner and his father loathe the woman and Emmitt doesn’t want a fight. Shit. I’m going to lose my mind if that woman gets in my way. I have to keep her away from Tanner at all costs. I know he’s going to be pissed about it when he finds out.
Tanner, he’s got a rigid personality. It should be a turn off, but I find his need for order kind of a challenge. As the maid of honor and his personal assistant I love to drive him crazy, and then dream about soothing him with his cock fucking my mouth. Damn, the fantasies I’ve had of this man are too intense. I’m getting wet just thinking about them.
“Don’t worry about it. I’ll do my best to keep her away from you.”
“Then what are you doing harassing me this early?” I grunt, nudging her with my elbow before laying back down on the bed.
She swats my arm and laughs. “You’re mad because I interrupted another Tanner dream, right?”
The color drains from my face. I sit up on my elbows and ask, “What are you talking about?”
She continues to giggle, earning her a swat on her arm. “You know damn well what I’m talking about. You say his name in your sleep.”
“Oh shit, you haven’t told him, right?” I’m mentally saying prayers that she kept that secret as my best friend. I think I would die if Tanner knew how obsessed I am over him.
“No, I haven’t spoken to him about it. Emmitt hasn’t told him either that I know of, but then again he was pretty drunk the other night.”
“Wait! Emmitt knows?” Can it be any worse? Of course it can. He could have told Tanner.
“Hello, we’re roommates, Addison. He’s heard your loud cries for Tanner too.”
“Oh God,” I sigh, putting the pillow over my face and holding it tightly while muttering to myself. How am I going to face anyone today?
“Remember, you’re the tough, smart, maid of honor who has way too many things to fuss over to worry about Tanner, but I will say he’s probably going to look super-hot in his tux today,” she teases, wagging her brows and nodding her head.
“Asshole, get out. Get some sleep. Can’t have you looking like the Crypt Keeper on your wedding day.”
“Love you, too, fucking goblin.” She laughs and walks out of the room, closing the door behind her. I nestle down again to try and sleep, but the door opens again. With a smile she adds, “Oh and his room is next door.” She closes it quickly, missing the pillow I toss at her. Sleep isn’t going to come now.
