Chapter 14
Darby
“Peirce!” His name leaves my lips on a strangled cry.
“More,” he demands, pumping harder and lifting my hips to hold me in place. He doesn’t let up, and when my eyes clear, my stomach twists and curls at the sight of him. A sheen of sweat covers his neck and chest. Every ridge and plane of his muscles are strained. I lick my lips, craving to run my tongue back over him.
His eyes flare, and I know he’s remembering the same thing. My mouth around him, massaging his balls, swallowing deep. It had been a long time, but I hadn’t lost my touch.
“Fucking addicted,” he grates out. “On your knees, sucking my dick like a pro, taking me in so fucking deep I was banging the back of your throat. Ten seconds in, and I wanted to blow. Twelve fucking years I missed that. Knowing it’s all mine.”
I reach out and scale my nails down his chest. “All yours.”
Saying Pierce is pleased about my celibacy is an understatement. His possessive nature is borderline obsessed.
What started slow and sweet turned frantic the instant he tried to slide out of my mouth, and I shook my head, working him harder. I needed to taste him, give him the same pleasure to drive him wild. He wanted to be inside me, but I didn’t give in, pushing him over the edge as he erupted with a loud groan. I savored the few seconds of power it gave me.
Then I was flying through the air, tossed on my back, and he was between my legs, devouring me. He showed no mercy, and I came twice before he finally kissed his way up my body and slid inside me. It didn’t take long until he had me screaming again.
“Give me another one.” His fingers dig into my skin.
“Impossible.”
Now, his eyes flame for a different reason. The challenge is there.
“Hands on the headboard, baby.”
He picks up speed, slamming into me with such force, I know I’m going to come again. I close my eyes, thrilling waves shooting through my veins, feeling everything. He swells inside me, filling me more, and I moan at the sensations building.
“Watch, Darby. Look at me.”
My eyes flutter open in time to see him trail a hand over my hipbone and run a finger along my slit where we’re connected. He continues the movement, brushing my clit with each swipe. My hands grip the wood, and I arch into him, needing more.
“Oh my God.” My body trembles, and he grins, knowing he’s going to get what he wants.
My breathing is unsteady as I watch the scene. He’s proving that he owns my pleasure. His hand dips lower, moving between us until he’s rubbing a circle around my tight rim. My eyes grow wide, and he grins wickedly.
“Come for me, beautiful. Come on my cock.” He drives in over and over, teasing me with his finger while I’m helpless to what’s happening. I can’t take it anymore.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!” I yell, coming up off the bed. Fireworks cloud my mind as I shatter. He’s with me this time, calling my name. Everything is a blur. My body goes limp, but he catches me, holding me close.
“Jesus, Darby.” His voice comes out hoarse. “Every time, every single time with you is the best.”
My heart soars, and I tilt my head to kiss him. He lurches inside of me, and I whine down his throat.
“I’ll give you a little break.” He nips my bottom lip.
After a few minutes, when I can move, I slip away from him. “I need to clean up.”
“It’s sexy as hell, knowing you’re full of me.”
My legs wobble when I stand, and he grins triumphantly. “You really are a caveman.”
He swats my butt as I limp away.
A few minutes later, I shuffle back to the bedroom to find Pierce with his back against the headboard, sheets across his hips, and his eyes trained on Runner, who’s laid out full length beside him. This leaves little space on my side of the bed.
“We’re gonna have a problem.”
“I don’t need much room.” I arrange my pillows and start to climb into bed.
“Stop.”
“What do you suggest I do? He’s used to sleeping with me.”
“You need to figure something out. We don’t have a night like we had, fuck like we fucked, and then sleep with a dog between us. The first night, I had to leave because I was installing your security system. The second night, I left to organize my life so I could take off to Aspen. This is the first time I’ve had you all night in twelve years. We need to find another place for Runner.”
I go the hall closet and drag out the oversized dog bed that never gets used, and then throw it on the floor at the end of the bed. “Runner, down here,” I coax him off, and he sniffs the unfamiliar bed, glancing at me, confused. “It’s okay, lie down.” He huffs, falls over, and rolls to his side.
