Cramming Her Cupcake - Buying Her

I’m dizzy and out of breath, but I feel incredible. I’m grinning like a fool. He notices that as he untangled himself from my arms. “I take it that was enjoyable? ” he teases. He lays in the bed beside me. I turn over to look at him. I cant stop myself from smiling, so I nod. “Just so you know, next time I’m going to tie you up and introduce you to the rougher stuff.” He cautions. “That’s fine with me.” I reply. He reaches over and wraps his arms around me. “I’m glad you enjoyed it. Your first time should be special. ” he says.

“It was.” I reply. What I don’t say is that it was gentle, romantic, and perfect. We lay there in silence for a while. I’d have to say that my auction and night went great. My mind drifts to my business as it always does. I’m happy that I should be able to buy the new place soon, but the price keeps getting raised by the competitor who wants to demolish it. It will take a lot of work, but I know I can make it happen. I’m determined enough.

What am I doing? I need to stop thinking about work right now. I’m having a great night. I need to go back to enjoying it. I really do love being with Brian. I never imagined that he could be this sweet or gentle. “Did you go to sleep?” He asks. “No, just thinking. ” I reply. “Your business again?” He asks curiously. I wrap my arms around him. “Actually I was thinking about how awesome everything was just now.” I answer. I can tell that I’ve shocked him. Hes quiet a few seconds, then starts smiling happily. “I mean it.” I say.

He pulls me closer to him and we lay there for awhile just cuddling and kissing each other. Eventually we start to fall asleep. I wasn’t expecting our date to go like this at all, but I’m so glad that it did. I can’t wait for our next opportunity to be together. I’m curious to know what other things he wants to try. I’ve never been tied up before, but it sounds incredibly hot. In the short time I have come to know him, I trust him not to hurt me. I fall asleep cuddling and dreaming of him. I feel happy and safe with him next to me. I didn’t think that would happen.

Chapter 14

Tammy

1 Month Later

Brian called me and asked me out to dinner. We were both busy at work at the time, so we agreed to meet at the same restaurant where we had our first date. I was actually excited about it. After work I hurried home and showered. I spent a few minutes obsessing about what to wear. I finally decided on a dress that accentuates my figure. I bought it after our last date.

Now I’m standing outside the restaurant waiting for Brian. I glance at my phone. He’s two minutes late, but I’m not worried. As I look up, I see him hurrying across the street. He hurries to my side and plants a quick kiss on my cheek. “I’m sorry. I got stuck at the office with andrew.” He explains apologetically. I’m just happy to see him. “Its not a big deal, it’s only a few minutes.” I reply with a shrug. “Let’s go inside.” He says, he holds the door open for me. “Thank you!” I reply. Hes been such a gentleman since our first date.

After we are seated and waiting for our food, I notice he looks a little nervous. “Is everything ok?” I ask him curious. He looks around anxiously, then nods. Our food arrives and we start eating. He seems quiet tonight, so I know something is bothering him. After a few more minutes I put my fork down. “Seriously, what’s wrong? Is it work?” I ask. I’m starting to get a little concerned. He looks up from his plate of food. “No, everything is going great at work. Speaking of that, we’ll have more auctions coming up in a few months ” he replies.

“Oh that is great!” I say happily. We go back to eating, and I decide to stop worrying about it. If something were really wrong he would tell me. We are almost done eating when he clears his throat. “Tammy, I need to ask you something.” He announced. “Sure go right ahead.” I reply, looming at him. He looks nervous again, and clears his throat. “I know everything between us has happened kind of sudden, but I know that I want to be with you forever…” he starts to say. Before he can even finish his sentence, the word “Yes!” Is out of mouth.

We both look at each other in surprise, then start to smile. He pulls a box out of his jacket pocket. I hold out my hand as he slips the ring on my finger. We sit there holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes. It’s such a beautiful moment, I couldn’t be happier. Since it’s a celebration now, we order more food and champagne. My happiness starts to dissipate though, as I worry about the money for my business. I feel so far away from my goal, I don’t know what I am going to do.
