Something So Irresistible (Something So 3) - Page 47

“I don’t deserve you,” I tell her in between breathing and kissing her. “I deserve nothing that you are giving me.”

She lets my lips go as well as my waist as she says, “You deserve everything.”

“I will never force you to do anything you don’t want to do,” I say as she rubs her finger on my lips.

“You can try, but I’d pretty much kick you in the balls and then cut them off.” She laughs, trying to make a joke out of it. “Max. I have never been one to be persuaded into doing things I don’t want to do. So if the time is right and we have sex it’s going to be something that I decide and not you.”

“So we take this one step at a time,” I tell her, bending my head to kiss her neck and then suck it a bit. “Is it barbaric to want to put my mark on you? Kind of like she’s mine.”

And she tosses her head back and laughs. “It’s funny you say that because I kept thinking the same thing today when we walked into the plane and the flight attendants were all like ‘I can get you what you need.’” She mimics the girl. “Ugh, really, bitch, he doesn’t need coffee. It’s fucking midnight.”

“You’re jealous?” I kiss her.

“You have a website that rated your dick. It doesn’t get worse than that.”

“You are not allowed to bring that fucking shit up anymore,” I say, biting her lower lip, and then sucking it into my mouth. “I haven’t had sex with someone in over eight months.”

“What?” She opens her mouth. “Impossible.”

“Angel, that is the last of it,” I tell her, rolling her on top of me. “No more fucking talking. I’m tired. I finally get to spend the night fully sleeping without trying to tiptoe down the fucking hall with my shoes. By the way, next time, adjoining rooms.”

“I can’t request that. It’ll be like a flashing ‘I’m getting it on with Max’,” she says and then thinks about it. “That isn’t a bad idea.”

“Tomorrow. I need sleep and you need to get off me or my cock will think it’s time to play and it’s not.”

“Want me to take care of it?” She smiles and wiggles her eyebrows at me, laughing in my chest at the end.

“Good night, angel.” I kiss her as she turns on her side and I turn into her.

“Um, Max, I can’t sleep with that thing in my back,” she says quietly. “I mean, I’m a virgin, but you know.”

“Shut up, Allison,” I say, turning around and squishing my cock into the mattress, and I swear I hear him groan. It takes me about two minutes before I finally fall asleep. I don’t even know how long I sleep. All I know is I wake up and the bed is empty next to me, so I get up and go about finding my girl. I walk around the wall and hear her.

“Hey there, princess.” She is talking to the cat. “Did you have fun while we were gone?” She picks her up, kissing her face, and bringing her into the kitchen. “Did you have a big party with your cat friends?”

And my cat is listening to every single word she says as she takes out some food and puts some on the plate. The cat jumps out of her arms and walks away while Allison starts the coffee and opens the fridge, taking out the milk as she looks up. Her hair is down now.

“Morning,” she says as she opens cupboards to find two cups. She finally finds them on the fourth try. “Coffee or orange juice?”

I walk to her, taking her in, standing in my kitchen, barefoot again, one foot on top of the other. Her camisole strap is falling down on one shoulder, showing me that she isn’t wearing a bra. I grab her by her waist and put her on the counter again, putting her hair over her shoulder, leaning down, and sucking right where her camisole starts, right above the swell of her breast.

“Max,” she whispers, looking down at me as her legs dangle.

I lift my head, looking down at the red mark. “Perfect,” I say then kiss her good morning.

Chapter Nineteen

Allison

“Let’s go, people,” I yell, running down the hall at the rink. It’s the day that we go and visit the hospital. It’s been two weeks of ‘dating’ and I’m fit to be tied. I can’t get enough of him. We can be watching television and I look up and crawl on his lap just to kiss him, because I fucking can. We’ve mastered dry humping and kissing. We spend the majority of time at his place, since it’s our safe haven of sorts. Plus, I wouldn’t be surprised if Cooper got the cameras hooked up to his phone. “How are you guys not ready? It’s been forty minutes.” I look at my watch, seeing that they all arrived here forty minutes ago. “The bus is waiting,” I say as the guys start walking out.
