Fighting to Be Free (Fighting to Be Free 1) - Page 49

I shook my head and walked in, closing the door quietly behind me. “I’m fine.”

She grinned and then walked off to the stairs, stopping at the bottom to take off her shoes when they clicked against the wooden floor. I kicked off my sneakers, grabbing them and followed her upstairs to her bedroom.

Her room wasn’t how I thought it would be at all, I guess I thought it would be all girlie and pink.

Instead, three walls were painted white, and one had black wallpaper. There was a huge black leather sleigh bed with black sheets, even the furniture was black. There was some pink in the room, but it wasn’t the baby pink that I thought it would be, it was a hot pink, bright and in your face. This room was Ellie all over, surprising, mysterious and sexy as hell.

“This wasn’t what I was expecting,” I admitted quietly.

She smiled and flicked on her bedside light, shutting the drapes. “No? What where you expecting?” she asked curiously, as she locked the bedroom door.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and walked her over to the bed, “I’m not sure, not this though,” I said as I kissed her.

She moaned quietly and kissed me back. I immediately got to work on her clothes, pulling them off, as she did mine. She moved onto the bed, I climbed on top of her, kissing down her neck and across her br**sts and stomach, tracing my fingers across the contours of her body.

“Hmm, I wonder how quiet you can be…..” I teased, grinning wickedly, as I kissed lower down.

She giggled and pulled a pillow over her face as I trailed my tongue across her body. The pillow was probably a good idea, she was a bit of a screamer.

Chapter 11

I woke in the morning with Ellie’s perfect naked body, wrapped in my arms, I was spooning her from behind. I moved my hips back so she didn’t feel how hard I was, damn that’s embarrassing. I kissed the back of her head lightly.

Last night was incredible, she was incredible, and every single minute that I spent with her, made me like her more and more. If I wasn’t careful this girl would have me in love with her in no time at all, which would suck big time considering she doesn’t want to actually date me.

She rolled over in my arms and pressed her face into my neck. “Who the hell are you, and what are you doing in my bed?” she mumbled, trailing her hands down my back, making me shiver.

“Ha ha. You’re funny,” I said, rolling my eyes.

She pulled back grinning, “I at least thought I would scare you for half a second,” she mumbled sleepily.

“Not even for half a second, little girl,” I said, grinning at her.

She gripped her hand on the back of my head and pulled me closer, pressing her lips to mine. We made out for a few minutes before breaking apart, I just held her in my arms, looking at her beautiful face. She looked incredible when she woke up in the morning, better somehow with the wild bed hair and no makeup.

I glanced over at the clock to see it was half past eleven. “Want to go for a belated breakfast or something?” I asked hopefully.

“Sure. I’m gonna go grab a shower first though, wanna come?” she asked, climbing out of the bed looking like a freaking sex goddess as she smiled seductively.

I felt my dick get hard again, damn it, again? “Hell yeah I do,” I admitted, getting out of the bed as quick as I could without hurting myself. She giggled as I put my hands on her hips, pressing my chest to her back, following behind her eagerly.

…………………

The following month was the best month of my life. Ellie and I continued to see each other casually, which was awesome. We text back and forth everyday, and I saw her at least three times a week.

Every Friday night I would go to watch her shake her perfect little ass at the game, then go to the party with her after. Each time she would sneak me into her room so I could spend the night with her.

That was the only time I got to actually ‘ sleep’ with her, because I refused to let her come to stay at mine. She really was too good for a place like that. She didn’t really understand why I wouldn’t let her stay, and I didn’t explain that it was a place for ex-cons. I couldn’t stand for her to look at me any different or think bad of me. So, we spent a lot of time in the back of the car, or in motels, or even occasionally in the bathrooms of restaurants too.

She still didn’t want to date me, well, I don’t think she did anyway. I didn’t bring it up again in case I ruined everything, but I knew she wasn’t dating anyone else at all. She didn’t even look at other guys, which made me feel slightly special. I was pretty sure she just thought of me as a friend. We talked a lot, then when we would see each other, it would end up being mind-blowing sex.

I was actually crazy about her, I couldn’t help but fall for her. She was incredible and I wished with every bone in my body that I was good enough for her, but there was no point in wishing. She would always deserve better than me, and more than I could give her.

My job was awesome, I managed to get at least two cars fixed up ready for auction each Wednesday. They were buying them in bulk so there was a nice regular supply for me to work on.

The money was more than I had hoped and was pretty regular too, they even put me on the books so I was legitimate and paying taxes. The awesome thing was, that they didn’t even ask for references or anything about my past, just accepted me at face value, so I didn’t even need to lie. I managed to earn around $350 per car, so I could easily afford a new place.
