Two for Alex

He pushed the door, which was slightly ajar and stopped dead in his tracks, unable for a split second to process what he was seeing. He felt as if ice had suddenly replaced the blood that a moment before had been flowing in his veins. He couldn’t speak, he couldn’t move. He could only stand impotently as his lover pummeled the naked girl beneath him, her breathy sighs interweaving with Daniel’s moans. He watched Daniel stiffen in the seconds before orgasm. He watched as Daniel came, his ass muscles clenched as he shuddered in uncontrolled release.
If he hadn’t been frozen in place by what he was witnessing, he would have crashed to the ground and, he was certain, smashed into a thousand bits of ice.
Alex was the first to notice Liam standing like a stone in the door, unable to move or speak. “Daniel,” she whispered frantically. “Liam’s here.” Daniel didn’t move, a deadweight on top of the small woman. More emphatically, Alex urged, “He’s here. In the doorway.”
All at once Daniel came alive. In one swift movement he pulled himself from the girl and whirled toward the door, toward Liam, who still stood rooted to the spot. He could see the look of horrified surprise that collided with anguished guilt as Daniel turned to face him. He could see Daniel’s spent cock, flagging and still sticky with the mingled juices from the two of them.
“Liam. You didn’t call.” Was this a reproach? Did his lover have the audacity to reprimand him for not sounding a warning so he could be sure to be in proper submissive form when Liam arrived? So the cuckold would be none the wiser of what had really been going on between the pair, seeing only what they wanted him to as the two so-called subs knelt naked, waiting to greet him?
This couldn’t be happening. Daniel would never fall in love with a woman. It wasn’t in his constitution. Of the two of them, Liam was far more likely to become emotionally involved with a female. Daniel’s interest had been for a chance to hone his skills with a whip, a chance to explore his dominant impulses in a safe way with someone who, by definition, would never be a threat to Liam, to their love for each other.
Daniel moved toward him, falling to his knees. He wrapped his arms around Liam’s legs. “I’m sorry, Sir,” he said softly. “I came without your permission. I-I let things get away from me. I should be punished.”
Came without his permission? Was that all this meant to Daniel? He’d come home to find his partner making love to a woman and Daniel framed it only in terms of stealing an orgasm? He looked down with near incomprehension at the streaked blond head of the man he loved more than life. Daniel shifted, moving back so he could kiss the tops of Liam’s shoes.
As he stared down at his prostrate lover, a warm glimmer of hope eased its way through the frozen rivulets of his heart, melting it just a little. Daniel had offered him the key to a graceful solution, at least superficially. Liam would punish them both—not for breaking his heart but for stealing an orgasm, for coming without his express permission.
He glanced toward Alex, who had remained on the floor, curling in on herself like a fetal ball. “I can see it’s a good thing I came home when I did.” He looked down at Daniel. “I’m disappointed in you, Daniel,” he said, aware of his understatement. Daniel’s eyes filled with tears as he looked away.
“Get up,” he said gruffly. “Both of you. Shower and get back here pronto. I’ll deal with you then.” They both scrambled to their feet.
“Liam, we should talk—” Daniel said quietly.
“We will,” Liam cut him off. “Not yet. Do what you’re told.” He turned on his heel, desperate for the sanctuary of his study.
He sank into the old leather chair behind his desk as his two subs scuttled to their respective bathrooms to wash the sticky evidence of their betrayal from their perfect young bodies…
With a sigh, Liam swiveled toward the large window. Staring out at Daniel’s beautiful landscaping, he tried to get his head around what he had just witnessed. He knew Daniel was right—they should talk. They had to talk.
Yet he wasn’t ready to hear what Daniel had to say. What if—no, it didn’t bear thinking about. And yet, the thought would not simply disappear on his command.
Liam let out a breath, his mind veering into dark places. He had always trusted Daniel intrinsically, never for a moment wondering what he did during the long hours every day when Liam was bent over legal papers in law offices or entertaining his clients in overpriced restaurants or walking them through difficult negotiations over how to invest and spend their enormous wealth.
