Say You'll Stay - An Enemies to Lovers - Page 55

“Are you ready for me, baby?”

I arched my back as he reached down between us to rub my clit.

“Fuck me, Adam,” I demanded. He laughed, clearly more than pleased with himself. He gripped my hips hard enough to bruise and then plunged inside me. I screamed. I couldn’t help it.

Adam put his hand over my mouth. “Stop it, Meg, or we’ll have an audience.”

I kissed his hand, and he removed it. “I’ll stay quiet,” I promised.

He leaned over me, kissing my shoulder. “Not too quiet,” he whispered against my skin.

It took me a minute or two to adjust to the size of him. He stretched and pulled at my muscles. I hadn’t had sex with anyone in a while. What if I was out of practice?

I stopped worrying the moment he kissed me, and we began to move together. He murmured nonsense against my mouth. He fucked me like he wanted to impale me.

Deeper.

Harder.

Thrust after thrust.

The rough fabric of the seat rubbed against my bare ass as he pushed into me over and over again. I wrapped my legs around his waist, trying to get as close as possible. He buried himself to the hilt and paused. He stopped kissing me, looking down into my eyes.

“Meg.” He said my name so softly. So sweetly.

I didn’t want soft. Or sweet.

I reached up and yanked his hair, pushing myself against him. “Fuck me, Adam. Don’t be polite about it.” And then I leaned up and bit down on his lip hard enough to draw blood.

With a roar, he screwed my brains out until we both came with a violent force that left us trembling and weak.

When I finally came back down to Earth, I felt a lot soberer.

And that wasn’t necessarily a good thing.

Adam was still inside me, his head on my chest. My shirt was pushed up around my neck, and I could feel his breath fanning my nipple. I had slid down in my seat, and my head was at an uncomfortable angle. Adam seemed like he was balancing on his haunches.

“Adam, get up.” I patted his back, trying to get him to move.

I gave him a shove, and he finally pulled back, his dick sliding out of me with a pop. He turned away as he pulled the condom off, tying a knot at the top. He shoved it into the empty box of Dots.

Shit. I had just had sex with Adam Ducate.

In a goddamned movie theater.

And it was the hottest thing I had ever experienced in my life.

Just then, the lights in the theater came on, indicating The Two Towers was over.

“Crap.” I scrambled to get dressed, pulling my shirt down and hooking up my bra. I searched the floor for my shorts and panties and could only find one of them.

“Damn it, where are my underwear?” I got down onto my knees and searched under the seats.

“I’m not sure, but you can keep looking for a while,” Adam responded, his voice husky. I looked over my shoulder to find him watching my naked ass.

I grabbed my shorts and hastily put them on without underwear. I ran a shaky hand through my hair. It smelled like sex and popcorn in here.

Adam pulled his shorts up and zipped them. He watched as I gathered my stuff in my eagerness to escape. It was time for me to make a swift retreat. I had been in town for two weeks, and I had already had sex.

With Adam Ducate.

My feeble brain couldn’t handle the overload.

“I need to go,” I muttered, pushing past Adam in my hurry to leave.

“Wait a minute, Meg, don’t just run away.”

“I am not running off. I need to get home. Mom’s probably waiting for me,” I lied. I couldn’t look at him.

But I had to. My eyes were drawn to him always. His hair hung in his eyes, and his cheeks were flushed. And he looked at me with an expression that made my insides quiver.

He took my hand and pulled me close, wrapping his arms around me. “Don’t go, Meg. Let’s watch the last movie. Maybe I can take you to dinner afterward.”

He leaned down to kiss me.

I let him.

But then my mind engaged and stopped letting my vagina make all the decisions. I stepped out of his embrace.

“This doesn’t mean anything, Adam,” I told him.

It didn’t.

It couldn’t. I wasn’t even sure I had forgiven him. Mind-blowing sex didn’t equate ‘all is well.’

“Meg—”

I held up my hand, stopping him. “I need to go. Don’t follow me, please.” I pressed my purse to my chest like a shield. “I’ll see you Monday.”

I turned and all but ran from the theater, leaving Adam behind.

Okay, so I was running.

Chapter 13

Adam

I lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling. My mind wouldn’t shut off.

Neither would my body.

I’d been sporting a monster case of wood for hours. Who needed Viagra when I had Meg Galloway?
