“Virgil,” she panted and her gaze met mine for just a second before her eyes rolled into her head.

“Oh fuck! Virgil! Harder…oh…fuck!”

There it was. That fucking smile.

Again.

I gripped her hips hard and pounded into her with purpose, like it was the cure for every fucking thing that was wrong with me because in that moment, it sure as shit felt like it was.

“Maisie,” I growled and she tightened around my cock like a vise grip.

“Virgil, yes! Please!”

I pulled her closer and took a raspberry pink nipple in my mouth, nibbling and sucking while I fucked her exactly how she wanted. How I needed to fuck her. And then she was coming apart in slow motion.

Her body tensed with her back arched, allowing me more of that meaty tit to taste while my hips continued to pound into her. Then she came back to life, shaking and convulsing as pleasure wound its way out of her body through whatever means it could find. Her pussy pulsed and fluttered as her lush lips wrapped around my cock with that beautiful wet cunt.

“Fucking shit,” I growled as she milked my cock dry, yanking a violent orgasm out of me while she did.

“Fuck,” she panted. “I see what you mean. That was…fucking. Hot.”

Her words, breathless and candid, did something to me that I rarely did with women.

I laughed. “Maisie,” I howled, joy billowing out of me. And when she joined in, my legs nearly gave out as the vibrations and clenching in her pussy reached my cock.

“Virgil,” she said on a sigh and fell back against the cool, damp sandstone, a look of pure affection on her face. Surprisingly, that look didn’t send me running.

“Happy you came?”

She sat up and nodded, cupping my face in her hands. “Happier than you know.”

Her lips touched mine and this time the kiss was pure fucking sweetness and softness. There was a little tongue but this wasn’t foreplay, it was something I couldn’t explain. Something I didn’t understand.

“What was that for?”

“That was because I like kissing you. But, thanks for trying today Virgil, it means a lot. It’s sweet,” she said and smacked a harder, more intense kiss against my mouth as she slid down the length of my body until she was immersed in the water. “And so fucking good.”

Dammit, even her words made me feel better when they shouldn’t. I was a confident guy who had his shit together, I didn’t need a woman to make me feel good. But still I couldn’t get enough of Maisie.

“That good, huh?”

She nodded and pushed off the wall, swimming until she was damn near six feet away. “Better.”

“Tomorrow,” I called out. “I want to see you.”

I waited for that triumphant look women sometimes got when they thought they’d won something but it never appeared. She smiled, sweetly and stood stall in the water.

“Then I’m sure you’ll make it happen, Virgil.”

Fuck, I couldn’t get enough of her.

Chapter Twenty

Maisie

“Hey, Bon!”

I held my phone in one hand and searched through my closet with the other. Bonnie sounded really upset that I was late for church.

“I know I’m running late but I swear I’m looking for a pair of shoes and then I’m rushing out the door.”

An afternoon in the sun with Virgil had worn me out in the best way possible. After two orgasms underneath a fucking waterfall, I came home and ate dinner with the family and fell into a dreamless sleep that didn’t end until about twenty minutes ago, which is when I should have left to make it to church on time.

“Are you mad?”

“Maze,” she whispered and I rolled my eyes and found the black ballet flats I was looking for, slipped into them and grabbed the small clutch that held my essentials.

“I’m heading to the car right now, Bonnie. Don’t be pissed, okay?”

“Maisie! I’m not mad,” she yelled down the line and I stopped dead in my tracks, looking at the phone. The tone in her voice sent a wrecking ball to my gut.

“Then what’s the matter?” If Wyatt had said or done something, I’d gut the fucker, for real this time.

“It’s Father Eric. I got to the church early this morning because I wanted to talk to him about Wyatt and our problems.” When she paused my legs got moving again as a sinking sensation started up in my belly that I couldn’t shake.

“He was…there was blood everywhere Maze. He…he…he was dead Maisie. Someone killed him.”

“Shit.” It wasn’t the word I was thinking of, but I’d grown up around a bunch of bikers. I didn’t have much experience with being delicate so that was what popped out.

“Who the fuck would kill Father Eric?” He was a friend and sometimes confidant who taught me about faith and how it could exist separate from religion.

“Shit, Bon, are the cops there? Did you find him? Oh my God, I’m on my way.”
