“Rogue,” she moans, and I smile as I do it again just because I can.
“I’m not going to clean you up. I want everyone to see you with cum on your legs and know that I marked you.”
I stand up and hold her hand as we exit the elevator. There are definitely cameras in there, but I don’t give a fuck. When we walk through the lobby there are plenty of people still walking around and they’ve all got their eyes on us. Good. Let them see I’m taken and so is she.
Once we’re in the back of the limo, I’ve got her thrown back on the seat as soon as the door closes behind us. This time when I eat her pussy, I take my time playing with her. She’s sweet and tangy and smells like me. It’s dirty and turns me on like I haven’t cum in years instead of just moments ago.
“Fuck,” I curse when the car comes to a stop. She was so close, but I kept teasing her.
“Don’t stop,” she cries out, and I shake my head.
“Go inside and get a bag. You’re coming home with me.”
“Okay,” she breathes without hesitation as she scrambles to get out of the car.
I help her out, but she plants her feet when I try to pull her into her building.
“Holy shit,” she says softly, and I turn to see the building across the street from hers in flames.
“Oh that’s right,” I say, checking my watch.
“Wait, you did this?” She looks at me in confusion and then back to the burning building.
“You don’t need to work out.” When she keeps looking at the gym going up in smoke and then back to me, she doesn’t understand. “I burned it to the ground, Ember.” I take a step toward her and wrap my hand around her back to pull her against me. “You’re perfect exactly the way you are. And I’ll do anything to prove it to you.”
“But…but—”
“I bought it and waited until everyone was gone. Then I had someone take care of it for me.” I speak softly as I lean in closer. “If you think I’m joking, try me.”
“Sprinkle tits!” someone says from behind us. “Ember, the gym is on fire and oh my god, who is this piece of man meat we should totally make a sandwich with.”
“Umm, Diamond, this is Rogue. Rogue, this is my roommate.”
Fire trucks pull up and suddenly the building is surrounded with sirens and lights. “We need to go,” I say to her, and she blinks at me a few times before she nods.
“Pack a bag and make it quick.” She nods again and I let her go.
“All right, dark and brooding, I like the vibe,” Diamond says as she looks over her shoulder at me and walks inside with Ember. “Just don’t hurt her or I’ll put a fishhook in your penis.”
“Diamond!” Ember yells at her friend, but they both laugh as they walk inside.
I put my hand over my dick because women who wear hoops that big at three in the morning are not to be fucked with.
Chapter Eleven
Ember
The sound of my phone vibrating wakes me up. I don’t want to move because I don’t think I’ve ever slept so good in my life. The noise stops after a moment, and I try to fall back asleep, but it starts going off a few seconds later. I huff as I sit up and blink a few times.
It takes a second for them to adjust, and then I remember I’m not in my own bed. Which is probably why it’s so freaking comfortable. My phone stops and starts again, and I scramble around looking for it. I almost fall off the bed in the process but finally find it in my purse on the bedside table.
My eyes almost bug out when I see it’s three in the afternoon. Not even twenty-four hours without a job and I’m already a bum. Great.
“Hey,” I answer, already knowing this isn’t going to be good. Lawrence never calls me. Why would he unless something has gone really bad with my mom? Dread settles heavy in my stomach as I wait for the news.
“Have you seen her?”
“Really?” He has to know I haven’t.
I turn my body and swing my legs over the side of the bed. I look down and see I’m completely naked and my clothes litter the floor. This bedroom is bigger than my whole apartment, but I don’t see Rogue anywhere. Can he ditch me in his own home? I wouldn’t put it past some men. Rich guys think they can do anything they want. Hell, all men really.
“‘I’ve tried everyone else.” Lawrence lets out a long sigh.
I get up and start picking up my clothes. “I shouldn’t have given her the money.” I toss my stuff on top of the bag I brought with me. She might be out on a bender or something. Who knows?
