“You. Are. Fired.”

“Why am I fired?” He raises an eyebrow. “You have to tell me why I’m fired, or I am not leaving.”

“I will call security.”

“I’ll call the damn police,” I say back to him.

He stands and maybe that comment shouldn’t have left my mouth because now he seems very fucking angry.

“You’re threatening me?” His voice scares me. I feel as if I should back away slowly with my tail between my legs and apologize the whole way out. If I were a normal girl, I would do exactly that, but fuck him, he can’t do this to women.

“No. But you are threatening me. So tit for tat.”

“I’m not threatening you, Olympia. I simply fired you. There’s a difference.”

“You’re firing me because you couldn’t keep your hands to yourself. Fuck you!”

Falcon walks in then looks between both of us. “So, you both finally did it. Is the tension gone now?” He reaches his hand in between us, and we stare at him confused. “Nope, still there. Worse than ever! Maybe you should fuck again. Hell, take the desk.” Falcon walks out the same way he came in.

“You’re still fired.”

I straighten my shoulders at his words. “And as I said, I don’t care what you say.” I turn to walk away before I show him what he said affects me, because it does. He shouldn’t be talking to me that way, not after what we just did. But what more should I expect from an asshole? I can’t expect anything, and that’s the problem. We’re nothing but two people who had sex. And that’s the way I plan to look at it as I go back behind the bar, not leaving as he instructed. I won’t be pushed out. If he wants to remove me, he will have to do it himself physically. I’m not quitting, and he won’t be firing me.

Even if he promises me that kind of sex again, I will be strong and say no.

Even if I want it, because I sure as shit want him, and that’s not a good thing.15DarbyOlympia’s body is everything. She’s all I can think about, and I don’t want to leave to pick up my son because my cock is hard as a fucking rock because she’s invading my every thought process. I want more of her. She was delectable, and she makes me want more.

“You didn’t really fuck her downstairs, did you?” Echo shakes his head. “Scratch that, you did. I saw. I was simply hoping you would tell me it was someone else dressed as you… you know, like role-playing.” He sits in the seat opposite me. “Then you fired her?” Echo closes his eyes, taking a deep breath. “Have you lost your mind? Do you want to get sued?”

“She wouldn’t.”

“Oh really, you’re questioning that? Yeah, just like Cleo wouldn’t get pregnant to have your baby then damn well die.”

I’m out of the chair before I can stop myself, and my hands are around Echo’s throat. “Don’t talk about her.”

Echo pushes my hands away. “You didn’t even love her. Honestly, what the fuck?”

“She’s Charles’s mother. That’s what the fuck. Respect is to be given.”

“No. That’s where you’re wrong, it has to be earned.” Echo walks out, rubbing his throat.

Shit.

Fuck! He’s right, but no one should be speaking ill of Cleo. I don’t want that and have to stop it early so Charles never hears about it. Speaking of Charles, I call my father and he answers on the first ring. “He’s asleep, don’t worry,” is all he says then hangs up.

Somehow that eases my stress levels, knowing he’s safe and content where he is right now. I’ve never had my father around much so this shit’s all new to me, and I hope it lasts. I want Charles to know his grandfather because despite it all, he’s one of the best men I’ve ever known.

Packing up my shit, I head downstairs to leave.

When I get to the bar, I pause. Olympia’s there. She didn’t leave like I told her to, and it makes me furious that she doesn’t fucking listen to a word I say. Walking over, Creed’s sitting there talking to her. Her eyes lift to mine and surprise flutters in them. Then disgust shows in the turn up of her lip, before she spins away and continues to clean.

“Olympia…” She turns around, cloth in hand, her other hand going to her hip.

“Yes, boss?”

Creed pays us no attention and goes back to his work in front of him.

“I fired you. Do you know what that means?”

Olympia whirls around real fast then walks up to us. Her eyes flick to Creed, and once she’s satisfied he isn’t watching, she leans over. “Oh really? I thought it was part of the sex game you were playing with me? Like how you spanked my ass on that bed over there.” She points to a bed, but keeps her eyes on me the whole time.
