He let go of the sheets, clutched Lucas’s hips, and yelled his head off as another orgasm ripped through his body. Words poured from his lips, but he hadn’t a clue as to which language they were in. Lucas loved pushing him until he unconsciously slipped into Romanian.

Lucas let out a hoarse cry—a helpless sound that drew another wave of pleasure from Andrei’s body. Knowing he brought this powerful man to this…this level of release and vulnerability…

Lucas got rid of the condom, then collapsed on him, kissing his jaw, his mouth, even his nose. “I missed you,” he whispered over and over even as more shudders shook his body. He finally rolled to the side but pulled Andrei half under his body, tucking him in like he didn’t plan to move all night.

Andrei couldn’t help but chuckle when a soft snore sounded in his ear moments later. Lucas was supposed to have taken tomorrow off to recoup before he flew home. He’d sounded so tired when they’d talked on the phone the night before.

But he’d also sounded a little homesick. That must be why he was two days early.

Lucas pulled him closer in his sleep, tightening his leg around Andrei’s thigh and his arm around Andrei’s chest.

Sighing, he felt sleep hovering along the edges of his mind and this time, he knew he’d get some real rest. Yeah, he was turning into a sap. But he didn’t care. From the way the man was holding him, it seemed Andrei wasn’t the only one who’d felt ripped in half during this last business trip.I Want More“Is this what you did on Sundays before we met?” Andrei demanded, irritation threading through his voice so that Lucas lifted one eyebrow at him before tucking his cell phone in the breast pocket of his jacket.

He took a long look at the man sitting next to him in the back of the Mercedes as it wound its way through downtown traffic, which was heavier than usual with Christmas shoppers. Andrei looked stunning in his dark suit. His hair was pulled back, but that just meant that Lucas was looking forward to getting him alone and freeing his hair before peeling him out of that suit. It would be like ripping the bow off an expertly wrapped and highly anticipated gift.

But beyond his sinfully good looks, it was obvious that nerves wracked Andrei. His entire body was stiff and rigid. His jaw muscles twitched as if he were grinding his teeth and his fingers alternated between flexing and drumming on the door. But this anxiety simply didn’t make sense. Brunch with the Lyntons shouldn’t be a problem. He knew these people and the danger that had hung over Lucas’s life was gone. This would be easy.

“I take it that you don’t do brunch,” Lucas said, fighting back a smile. Teasing Andrei when he was irritated was becoming a favorite pastime but only because Lucas usually found himself slammed against the nearest flat surface and kissed until they were both panting and out of control.

Andrei glared at him before he went back to drumming his fingers on the car door to his left. “No. I like our usual Sundays better. Bed until late morning, sex, coffee, and then the pre-game show.” Just the mention of football earned Lucas another dark glare that nearly had him laughing. “Who does brunch anyway?”

“The Bengals are out of town this week and not playing until four. You won’t miss a minute.” Andrei grunted, his gaze drifting back out the window as they stopped at a red light. Not for the first time, Lucas was grateful that he’d hired a driver for the day. He wanted to give Andrei his full attention. “Why don’t you tell me what’s really bothering you?”

“I just don’t understand why you’re doing this.” Andrei glanced back for only a second, frowning. “You’re the one who told me you don’t have friends. If this is a business meeting between you and Thomas, then I don’t see why I have to be there.”

Lucas stared at Andrei in shock. This was not the strong, confident man that he’d come to know in the past couple of months. It wasn’t irritation about the fact that he was up early on one of his few days off and dressed in a suit. Beneath the petulance and frustration, Lucas could hear the growing thread of panic. This stunning man who regularly stared down thugs and killers was terrified.

“I have no business to discuss with Thomas. I believe you were the one who pointed out that I needed to expand my circle of friends.” Lucas paused, disappointed that his comment didn’t earn some kind of response from Andrei. Prior to meeting Andrei, there had been only Snow, Rowe, and Ian in his life. Andrei had made him realize that closing himself off meant that he was missing out on some more enjoyable aspects of life. “Marilyn specifically asked if you’d be there. You made a good impression on her.”
