Their Boy (The Game 2) - Page 51

Hunger darkened his eyes. “I’ll tell Luke to make sure I’m there to watch the first time he wants our little boy to fuck him.”

Hnngh. Lust coursed through me, and I ducked my head to his neck. “I’m getting horny just thinking about it, Daddy. Will you help me if I need it?”

“Of course, baby.” He kissed my shoulder. “Do you want somethin’ now before I start dinner?”

I nodded a lot. “I think that’s best. I want you in my mouth. It’s been way too long, if you think about it.”

He chuckled huskily and moved us toward the ladder. “Trust, Daddy thinks about that a whole lot.”

Me too!* * *Could one fall in love with a moment? If so, I was in love.

We hadn’t lost our swimwear, but we’d moved our little party to the kitchen where Colt was cooking, and Lucas and I sat at the kitchen island with our laptops. At first, it’d only been Lucas with his laptop, and it’d looked so adult and sexy that I’d fetched my laptop too. I wanted to be like my Daddy and do important stuff.

He was going through emails, it appeared, and he was wearing his hot glasses.

I was shopping for T-shirts online.

“How do I skip this depressin’ fuckin’ song?” Colt asked.

“This is country, love,” Lucas drawled.

“No, it’s a depressing country song,” Colt argued.

I snickered. “Alexa, skip.”

Alexa changed to the next song.

“Goddamn smart homes,” Colt muttered. “Never thought I’d live to see the day we had gadgets—with names—that we talked to. In my opinion, the only place we want advanced technology is in the military.”

That sounded mildly terrifying.

“He wouldn’t let me install an Alexa at home,” Lucas told me. “That was two years ago. Maybe he’s warmed up to—”

“No, I haven’t,” Colt said.

“We’ll discuss it,” Lucas replied. “It’s a convenient way to keep reminders.”

“That’s the only reason Rosa agreed to one,” I said. “Vincent wanted it for my appointments.” These days, though, I was sure Rosa used the device the most. Vincent had helped her program a Spanish-language radio station she liked, and she’d listen to it while cleaning and cooking.

Colt turned away from the stove to face us, and he furrowed his brow. “I forgot about them. Is it gonna be an issue with Luke and me here?”

I tilted my head. “Why would it be an issue?”

I’d already told Rosa that Colt and Lucas would spend the summer here. I’d called her from the hotel lobby while the guys packed their stuff. She was happy for me. She’d told me she’d been praying for me.

Colt cleared his throat. “Well, I cook. Lucas has a dozen dishes I approve of, but cookin’ is my thing. My mother would also tan my fuckin’ hide if I didn’t clean up my own mess.”

“She actually would,” Lucas chuckled fondly.

I didn’t see the problem. “So, she’ll have less to do.” I shrugged and scratched my elbow. “Her position is secure, and she knows it. She probably changed my diaper more than my mom did when I was little, and because I’m still somewhat of a useless—”

“Watch it!” Colt snapped.

“Kit,” Lucas chastised.

It was followed by matching angry stares from two Daddy Doms.

Shit.

“Heh.” I chuckled uncomfortably and backtracked. “I just m-mean, I never learned. I got comfortable. And I wanted her company. She worked for my parents, but for me, she’s family. But either way, if she doesn’t have anything to cook or anything to clean, she’ll survey the place and go home. That’s her job, to make sure things are running smoothly for me.” I shifted in my seat. “Securing her future with me and after she’s retired was one of the first things I did after Mom and Dad died because everyone else left. Except for Rosa and Vincent.”

Lucas covered my hand with his and gave it a squeeze.

Colt rubbed the back of his neck. “Exactly how many people did your folks have on staff?”

“Five,” I answered. “Mom had a PA who used to stay in the studio in the basement most of the time. Vincent, Rosa, Dad’s security guy—Brent, he was a funny dude.” Given the sensitive information my father dealt with and had access to, he’d always had Brent nearby. “Oh, and Tina. She ran errands for the family. She and Brent are married.”

Vincent once asked my father why Brent was assigned to Dad, since it was Vincent who was one day going to get a position at the company. In another department, where Vincent could go farther. And my dad had said, “There’s no greater test than taking care of my son. I’m trusting you with the best thing I ever helped create.”

Vincent told me that story after their funeral.

Colt let out a low whistle. “Talk about a life I’ve never lived.”

I didn’t know how to respond to that, so I went in another direction. “Aren’t you starting a security business? My dad only hired those he deemed necessary.” My mother had been another matter.
