And I couldn’t resist teasing right back, sliding a hand up her skirt that was now at mid-thigh, I brushed my knuckles over that little triangle of black silk.

Sophie let out a strangled groan and covered it with a cough. “You have to be open minded if you want lo-ove,” she said the final word on a squeak as my fingers found their way inside her panties to that hot slick part of her that owned a part of me. “Y-Y-Yes, I’m fine. Thank you for asking.” Her brandy eyes glared at me and I slowly removed my fingers.

And licked them.

Another strangled groan escaped as a second line began to ring on her office phone. “Let’s t-t-talk more about this later, Magnus. Yes, later,” she said and hung up. “I’m going to kill you, Stone!”

“Yeah? Not if I kill you first,” I told her and slid her to the edge of the desk, using my shoulders to push her thighs apart. “Ready?”

Sophie shook her head, thighs trembling at the awkward angle. “I’m working, Stone.”

“So am I.”

“Stone,” she growled as I licked my way up her thigh. “Stone,” she said again, this time on a moan. “I have a call.”

“You’d better take it then,” I told her with an innocent smile. “And try your best to be professional.”

“You wouldn’t.”

“I already am,” I told her and slid her panties to the side, inhaling the scent of her arousal before tasting her, licking her until she had no choice but to lean back on the desk and accept the pleasure.

“Eva. What’s. Up?” Her voice was breathy and her words came out choppy as she dealt with business and I smiled against her swollen, slick sex.

It wasn’t fair to use sex to make her mine, but I was a desperate man in love with a terrified woman. I had to use every tool in my belt to make her mine because now that I was so close to having her, to making her mine, there was no way in hell I’d let her go. Not when she was writhing and squirming on top of her desk, doing her damnedest to sound normal while she continued her conversation with Eva.

“Yeah. He just. Called,” she sighed as I slid one finger deep and sucked her clit gently. Her legs trembled on my shoulders and one hand threaded through my hair, holding me where she needed me as her hips began to move. “Yes,” she moaned. “I mean, yep!”

I chuckled against her, the sound vibrating through her body and she nearly dropped the phone. Sophie’s breaths came in short, shallow pants and I knew she was close. Damn close.

“Gotta. Go. Eva.” The words came out as one word and she slammed the phone into the receiver and fell back against the desk with a sigh. “Stone,” she moaned and I picked up the speed, flicking my tongue across her clit and pumping in and out of here until a wailing cry escaped as her body shook with pleasure. Her body tightened and froze as if suspended in time and then shook violently as the last of her orgasm rushed out of her body.

“You’re so fucking beautiful when you come,” I told her, mesmerized by how it impacted me every single time.

A nervous laugh escaped and her body twitched with aftershocks as I slowly removed my fingers from her body, my tongue still licking her slowly just because I could. “Don’t think compliments will get you out of this. That wasn’t funny.”

“No, it wasn’t. But it was hot as hell. And satisfying for both of us, I’d say.” With her gaze stuck on mine, I licked her cream from my fingers and she let out a strangled groan and fell back against the desk, her skin flushed pink once again.

“That it was. So satisfying,” she said and held her hands out so I could help her up. “Now I’m really hungry.”

I laughed. “Funny enough, so am I.” We sat on the sofa in her office and ate, picnic style and talked. It was just like old times.

Only about a million times better because I knew that smile and that semi-permanent flush of her skin was because of me.

It was a perfect afternoon.

Almost.SophieThe phone chirped an alert and vibrated on the kitchen table beside me, telling me it was time to put the laptop away and decide about dinner for movie night. This was, technically, our first movie night since things had changed in our relationship and the last time was still fresh in my mind, which meant I needed to get up and step away from my work or Stone would think I’d forgotten about him and our special night.

As if I could forget any detail about him.

Thirty minutes later the final alarm sounded and I let out a frustrated groan and slammed the laptop shut. “No more! Dinner, I need to focus on dinner.” It was already seven o’clock which meant we’d either have a really late dinner or we were eating takeout. Again. For the past five nights we’d been sidetracked during dinner preparations or before we even considered the need for food, and had lived on pizza, sandwiches, tacos and fried rice.
