“They don’t count. They have kids together and were sweethearts.”
“But Molly was never with anyone else. She was always in love with Dale and never moved on. What does that tell you?” he asked.
“She was a single mom, and a lot of guys don’t want to bring up another man’s kid,” she said. Even to her own ears she sounded incredibly cynical.
“You believe that?”
“I do.”
“Oh, come on.”
“What? It’
s perfectly logical to think like that. You’re saying a girl is more inclined to remember and be influenced by her first-ever sexual partner?” she asked.
“Yes.”
“I don’t see it. I’m not going to be influenced by what happened here. It wasn’t that great.”
“Hey!”
She groaned. Covering her face with her hands. “I didn’t mean it like that. I mean … it hurt, okay? And it wasn’t just you. It wasn’t a great feeling at first. After a short time, it built up into something, but it wasn’t great. I wouldn’t want to remember it. I’m really not saying this right.”
“I actually get it,” Max said. “This was the risk I took when I said I’d take you.” He sighed. “It’s also why I’ve got the weekend.”
“You want a repeat?”
The sex had been … okay. She didn’t see what all the big fuss was about when it came to sex. Sure, the orgasm at the beginning was a lot of fun, but other than the pain, everything else had kind of sucked. She didn’t want to tell him that though. Max was actually incredibly sensitive, or maybe she was.
Her head was all over the place, and she couldn’t think properly.
He moved in the bath, and she let out a gasp as he was suddenly behind her, and the evidence of just how much he wanted to go again was pressed against her back. “What do you think?”
“I think you’re a guy and are always ready to go?”
“Or maybe you’ve given me a challenge and now I’ve got no choice but to prove to you, I want you. This isn’t just about sex, and it hasn’t been. I want to show you all those things you’ve been missing out on and craving.”
“You shouldn’t have looked at my computer.”
“I know that. Believe me, even as I was watching your history and seeing the kind of things you liked, I knew I should stop.” His hands went to her stomach, and she watched as he slowly drew them up, covering her tits. “Here’s the thing though, I didn’t want to stop.”
“Why didn’t you want to stop?” she asked.
His fingers teased over her nipples, pinching the hardened buds.
“Because I liked it. Because I knew deep down what you wanted and I could give it to you.” His mouth was at her neck, and she gasped as his teeth sank against her flesh before he licked over her pulse. “You want it dirty, I can give you dirty. You want to be fucked without judgment, I’ll give it to you. All you’ve got to do is give yourself to me, and I’ll make your every single wet dream come true.”
One of his hands moved down to cup her pussy.
This was crazy.
Insane.
And as he stroked through her slit, there was no denying her need for him.
“I can feel how much you want me. This doesn’t lie to me. Your mouth does, but your body, no, she knows what she wants, and she’s tempted by the idea of me giving her everything. It’s okay to hate me, Aria. You can hate me and still want me.”
She groaned. This wasn’t right. “We shouldn’t do this.”
“We’re both consenting adults. We can do whatever we want.” He moved down, pressing two fingers inside her, and she whimpered his name, feeling her body tighten. There was a little discomfort but not a whole lot. She was more than ready for him, to take him.
Closing her eyes, she thrust her pussy against his hand, wanting him to take her.
He wouldn’t give her what she wanted.
“I know you hate me, and that’s fine. We can work with that. All I ask is for complete honesty.”
“No one can know.”
“They’ll never know.”
“This means nothing. It’s just sex,” she said, biting her lip. He swirled his finger around her clit, and she tried to make him touch her, to make the arousal easier, but he pulled away, stopping her from reaching for more.
Max knew how to touch her body, how to make her forget herself, and right now, she needed that. She needed to forget everything, and for just once, have what she craved regardless of if it was right or not.
He bit her neck, sucking hard but not too hard, not to the point of there being marks. He could mark every other part of her body, but not where their friends could see.
“Yes, I agree,” she said. “I want this. It’s why I came to you tonight. I want what only you can give me. Please, Max.”
“You want me to be the man to fuck you. To show you just how dirty it can get?”
“Yes.”
“Good.”
He pulled his hands away from her, and she groaned.
“Why did you stop?” she asked, looking up at him as he now sat behind her.
“We’re in the bath for you to get washed. Not to fool around. The more you rest, the better I can pound this pussy later. Now, relax against me.” He picked up a sponge. “I’m going to clean you up.”
She groaned. “You don’t have to do that.”
“I will do that. I’m the one in charge here. You just agreed to that. You can’t go reneging on our agreement. It’s binding.”
Chapter Six
Max smiled down at his little sex-starved kitten. He’d not fucked her for the rest of the night, and she’d been a little pissed about that. He could handle her pissed though. She’d been sore, and he intended for her to feel a little better rather than risk her flinching at him as he took her. Causing her unnecessary pain wouldn’t be fun, not to him.
Stroking a curl back from her head, he watched her sleep. This was the first time in his life he’d ever shared a bed with a woman. Her hand was splayed out in front of her, and she lay on her stomach.
They’d sat talking all night long about everything and nothing. He’d wanted to make her more comfortable around him, not less. At the moment, she didn’t see him as a friend or even a guy she wanted to be with. To Aria, he was nothing more than the guy who’d bullied her in high school, and that shit had to stop.
He needed to give her new memories, good ones. The ones that would completely wipe out the bad stuff he’d done to her. He wanted to touch her, to run his fingers down her back, and tease her awake. He waited though.
The more rest she got, the better.
With all the early mornings she was doing, the baking, he’d seen the dark shadows beneath her eyes, and he wanted her to rest.
He wondered if Molly and June even realized she was working herself to exhaustion. Was it also because she was hungry for cock? Those movies she watched, most of them were staged, with actors. There wasn’t any chemistry between them. They were all there to do one thing, make a porn shot, make money.
He and Aria had a history. Not very good history either.
Rubbing at his temples, he lay back on the bed, still watching her. She must have been in a deep sleep as she’d not once woken up.
Aria was using this time with him to have sex, to rid herself of her virginity, which he’d done. He still couldn’t believe he’d fucked her.
He’d taken something so precious. No other man could have it. It belonged to him, all him. Regardless if Aria believed him or not, they were both connected now. He was her first, and she wouldn’t forget him.
Max had his own agenda for this weekend. One of which, was happening now. He’d never slept with a woman all night. This was the first time he’d done this, and with Aria, it felt right. It felt like he was supposed to be here.
She was the first woman, and he loved watching her sleep. She didn’t make any sounds. So quiet and tranquil.
Just as he was about to touch her face again, his cell phone began to buzz.
“Shit!” He whispered the word but had seen Aria open her eyes. “It’s my cell phone.”
She nodded. She pointed at her lips, keeping them closed.
Climbing out of bed, he grabbed his cell phone, seeing it was Trey calling him. If he ignored the call, his friend would keep on calling.
“I’ve got to take this. It’s Trey.”
“I’ll be quiet.” Aria sat up in bed, pulling the sheet against her chest and hiding those beauties from him.
When Trey finally knew about them, he was going to punch him in the balls.
Clicking “accept,” he put the cell phone to his ear.
“Any reason you’re waking me up?” Max asked.
“It’s nine-fifteen, and you sound awake.”
“Only because your call woke me up.” He watched Aria as she checked the time, and she was clearly surprised at how late she’d slept. She looked so incredibly adorable. She held the clock up to him and mouthed a “wow” at him.
He nodded.
“Are you listening to me?” Trey asked.
“Nope, not even a little bit.”
“Are you with a woman?”
“No. I’m falling asleep because you’ve got one of those voices that were designed to read bedtime stories. How does June stay awake with you?”
Aria was smiling and shaking her head at him. She climbed out of bed, wrapping the blanket around her. He wasn’t having any of that. She went to pass, and he caught the sheet. There was a small tug, and with the cell phone to his ear, she had to stay quiet. He played all innocent until she finally dropped the blanket, rolled her eyes at him, and walked into the bathroom, giving him a very sexy view of her ass.
“You’re with someone,” Trey said.
“I’m not with anyone. I’m taking a mini-vacation. I’ll be back Sunday night, possibly Monday morning. We’ll see. I just needed to get away.”
“Are you bumping into Aria while you’re away?”
It was on the tip of his tongue to say no and fast. He had to play it cool. “No, why? Where’s Aria?”
“You didn’t know she’d taken a mini-vacation too?”
“Didn’t know. She clearly needed it though. Did you see how tired she was looking? She no longer looked like a twenty-five-year-old. Anyway, I’ve got to go. I’ve got a lot of sleep to catch up on. I’m turning my cell phone off. Give my love to all.” He quickly turned his device off as Aria leaned around the door.
“Do you think he knows?”
Max looked at her. “Stop hiding from me.”
She rolled her eyes. “I’m not hiding.”
“Then come here.”
She sighed. She stepped around the door, and he smiled in victory. “How long were you awake?” she asked.
